Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and Rep. Luis Gutierriez (D-IL) will be keynote speakers for a pro-amnesty Hispanic group’s convention in April.
Bush and Gutierrez, both of whom have been vocal about the need for a comprehensive amnesty bill, will headline the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference’s (NHCLC) annual convention, which will be held April 28-30 in Houston.
“We are thrilled to have such prestigious speakers join us for this very important gathering,” NHCLC President Rev. Samuel Rodriguez said in a statement. “This convention will bring together influential Christian Hispanic leaders from around the world to address vital issues of our generation from racial reconciliation and Christian persecution to prison and immigration reform.”
Rodriguez has also been vocal about the need for comprehensive amnesty legislation. He has said there is a “biblical obligation” to pass such a bill and even warned Republicans that they will suffer in 2016 if they do not support amnesty legislation even though multiple studies have shown that Republicans can win the White House in 2016 and beyond without supporting amnesty legislation.

What people have to realize is the RNC does not care about winning in 2016, the important thing is making sure we cannot elect anyone who will stop the cheap labor importation/invasion that they like to call immigration.
There's a vocal contingent of Freepers who will scream at you for not supporting anyone with an R velcroed to their sleeve.
Even if that faux Republican has a public record that would make any liberal Democrat blush with pride (looking at you, Mitt).

No amount of cajoling, castigating, guilting, etc. will get me to vote for Jebster. He can lose graciously on his own without my vote.

Millions of decent Americans saw right through Mitt's faux conservatism, and correctly fingered him for the Democrat In All But Label Only that he is. These are smart, well-informed people, who studied his actual RECORD, and realized that they were being sold a bill of goods by a complete fraud.
Jeb is no different. If the GOP-e wants to lose again, they can bulldoze a path to the nomination for him, but voters will choose a real Democrat over a fake one every time. Just like they did in every election where a RINO has been our standard bearer.
You'd think the GOP-e would have figured out the simple arithmetic of this stuff by now.
Nominate a RINO, and only knee-jerk R voters and terrified conservatives will give them their vote. Put up a strong conservative and not only will the knee-jerks and the terrified conservatives show up, but so will the true conservative (read: 'purist') voters.
That, and ONLY that, is how we win.

IF—IF—Bush wants to be President, he certainly wants to owe conservatives NOTHING once he gets in. If he actually wants to be President, he’s betting that he can do it without conservatice votes.
The half of the country that “pays no taxes” (income tax, that is) is paying, I would bet, 30-50% of their income in hidden taxes, embedded taxes, the drag of regulation, etc.
