MILWAUKEE (AP) Milwaukee police say the driver of a car who struck and killed a 2-year-old has been shot to death at the scene of the accident. A teen was also injured in the shooting. (Snip)
Whoops, it wasn’t reported the it was the driver’s teen, but a dead 15 year old teen non-passenger.

Yes, it’s speculation, but it’s speculation based upon knowledge of similar incidents in the past in certain “urban” areas.
I think that leaving an accident scene that would be a danger to the drive is permitted if one calls police and meets with them.
Race of killed driver and passenger?

Nothing saying the shooter isn't from Somalia...
It would be better if Google Maps or a similar navigation application would tell you NOT TO DRIVE into a high-minority neighborhood.

I suspect you are right.
Law and Order even covered something similar almost a decade ago where a guy did a hit and run but his defense was that he was afraid to stay at the scene because of what would happen in such a bad hood. IIRC he lost because of other reasons and it’s the show Law and Order.
Could be the case.
What is odd is they reported the teen was not a passenger of the driver who was killed.
On going feud? Stray bullet? I dunno.
Over 10 years ago, we put a subdivision on the farm, a private loop. We’ve had tons of invaders drive through, leaving their trash/debris/condoms/racing. We’ve been putting up a barricade when our grandkids play on the pavement, but would aggressivley protect our space if the bozo’s ignore our no trespassing, etc.
The 15 year old was apparently a bystander.
The gunman may have assumed he was the driver’s kid? Shot him as revenge?
Looks like a relative of the toddler is probably the gunman.
Must have let the child wander around unsupervised...and the child ran into the street. Then he shot the driver who hit the child, and also shot a nearby teenager.
Looks like all involved are black.

Similar situation occurred a few years ago, also in one of Milwaukee’s Blackistans... a white driver accidentally hit a black kid who ran out into the street... as he tried to render aid, a pack of street apes killed him with bricks.
Take-away: if you are driving in the wrong part of town and see something and hear a thump, KEEP ON DRIVING!
