Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation,” the co-managing editor of Bloomberg Politics John Heilemann said he was shocked when he learned from a new Bloomberg poll that 42 percent of Republicans “said they would never consider voting for Jeb Bush.”

Heilemann said, “We have a Bloomberg politics poll that just came out. We have a viability question. We went to people not to the horse race would you considerably, might consider, never consider,” he explained among “Republicans and independents, 42 percent said they would never consider voting for Jeb Bush. That was a big, that was a shocking number to us.”

He added, “A large number of people in the Republican electorate say they are done with him, they do not want a Bush on the ticket.”

It is the height of stupidity to run another Bush for president.

Perfectly illustrates the tone deafness of the GOP.

Time after time we are told we must vote for the lesser of two evils: a RINO or a radical liberal. It hasn’t worker.

Why would I try that again?

Good grief!

I don’t want Bush on the ticket... unless he wants to run as a Democrat.

Lots of us will flat out leave the Republican party.

This is why I’ve voted on every Republican “who do you want for President poll?” they’ve mailed me.
I think that has more impact on the party and the money for candidates, and thus influence, than voting in the election.

In other words, ignore the ‘lesser of two evils’ argument for staying, and get off the republiCrat plantation. No more progressives for me either.

Serious adults won't vote for the liberal (R). Republican however, may, and drive the country further left.

I am one of that 42%. I will vote for the Democrat if they run Jeb. I am fed up with GOPe candidates who have no interest in actually fixing anything wrong with the country.

Might as well help it burn faster by electing Hitlery.

I will not vote for more of the same. Count me in the 42%.

Turn the ship or sink it. Bush is more of the same and will only be demorat lite.

Exactly my feeling as well. If Jeb gets the nomination, i'm urging everyone to vote for Hitlery. We either turn the ship or sink it.

Democrats have to lose to crossover and vote for Bush? They did it in Mississippi.

And if we'd had any sense, we would have supported the Democrat in Mississippi so as to demonstrate to the GOPe Karl Rove types that they don't run things.

I don't want any more Bushes either, but talk is cheap. When and if it comes down to Hillary vs Jeb, what do you do...I know some zealots will stay home or write in their brother in law. But what will serious adults do?

Vote for Hillary. We either turn the ship or sink it.

The GOP love snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
