Scott Walker Stands Up for American Workers Against Illegal Immigrants on ‘Hannity’
Breitbart - Big Government ^ | April 9, 2015 | Matthew Boyle

Posted on 04/09/2015 4:59:30 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

......................“If the United States was being attacked in one of our water ports on the East or West Coast,we’d be sending in our military forces, and yet we’re facing some of the same challenges with international criminal organizations, the cartels that are trafficking not only drugs but weapons and humans and we need to step up and be aggressive,” he explained. “That means securing the border with infrastructure, with technology, with personnel and the federal government’s got to lead the way. We can’t expect the border states to do this alone. The federal government needs to step up and act.”

The most impressive part of Walker’s answer came at the end, where he didn’t just leave the issue at border security—he said that’s just step one,but after that’s completed there needs to an immigration policy that serves the national interest and protects American workers from cheap foreign labor that forces like the Chamber of Commerce, major labor unions, and other elitists are pushing for. He used language that sounds like it came from Sen. Jeff Sessions(R-AL), the immigration populist who chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee on Immigration and the National Interest—and specifically noted that wages of “American workers” must be protected.

“You can’t be talking about anything else until you do that,” Walker said. “Once you do that you can then we can talk about enforcing the laws by using an effective e-verify system for all employers, one that works for small businesses, farmers, and ranchers and making sure that any legal immigration,no amnesty, any legal immigration system we go forward with is one that ultimately has to protect American workers and make sure American wages are going up. That’s the way we prosper for every hard working American in this country.”

...If Walker stays on this path, it could mean bad news for the rest of the GOP field.

“Give them 90 days to get out... Then give employers 90 days to replace them or THEY go to jail for having illegals. No e-verify confirmation? Your charged. Lot fewer employers to deal with than illegal invaders. Dry the job supply up and cut off the welfare for flunking e-verify and they will go home.”

Exactly.

Cruz has a devoted following here...it’s Cruz or lose for them. That said he’s not going to win the primary much less the general. It will be Walker or Rubio.

I like that plan. I have never understood the mantra “well, we can’t deport them”. Why the Heck Not?
If the IRS is abolished, there are 100,000 or so displaced federal workers who can process their deportations. ICE can round them up. Once we get the problem under control, we need to make sure that our laws are enforced so it never happens again.
A lot of people will decry this as too cruel, but no other country on earth allows their border to be assaulted the way that we do.

I want to believe that Walker’s trip to to the border was a reality check but I don’t know.

Walker knows how to sweep out Democrat liars and thugs... He needs to talk now... that’s the season we’re in.

When he’s elected he’ll act against liberal filth.

My dream ticket is Scott Walker at the top of the ticket with Ted Cruz as the veep. That gives Cruz time to assist in governing and give him the creds necessary to take over the Oval after 8 years. Sixteen years between the two of them should be able to undo the damage wrought by RAT Presidents over the last 100 years. IF we have a sympathetic Congress with sufficient numbers to keep filibusters and technical blocks under control.

Unfortunately for Gov. Walker (ala Sen. Rubio) we have him on video and recordings saying very differently things on illegal immigration, Amnesty and the phony "Comprehensivr Immigration" legislation!

Like Mitt Romney last time, most conservatives just don't trust politicians who will say and do completely opposite things in areas of ethics and morality.

Could I ever believe Mitt Romney when he had his "change of heart" and became pro-life or pro-authentic marriage - sorry, the answer was no. Did I vote for him anyway because I knew Barack Obama's position on abortion was that if a baby survived an abortion, it was still OK to kill it anyway, since that was the intention all along, yes, I voted against Obama, for Romney!

I'm praying every day now that Ted Cruz is in the race, that a loving God gives me the opportunity to vote FOR a candidate I know is pro-life, not a phony wanna be like Paul who uses weasel words when it comes to abortion or again in favor of Cruz when it comes to immigration, instead of guys like Walker and Rubio, who have been on so many sides of that issue, their heads now resemble the girl in "The Exorcist" whose head does a complete 360!

He knows how to do whatever

Meaningless

When he’s elected he MIGHT act against liberals

I’ve had enough of hoping these guys will do what they’re supposed to do and then getting in and working for the chamber of commerce.

I’m surprised more people aren’t as sick of it as I am but to each his own

If one person in the past three months had given me a character reference nice on him that states what his motivations are in rooting out liberalism that is consistent with conservatism I would have something. But I don’t

It won’t do anyone any good to flame me on this. It just drives me further away from his camp it’s no more than what the liberals do

Emotional arguments. illogical and baseless

Meanwhile, I’ve posted links with Walker’s direct quotes over and over again—you know what I say about him is true.

There is an old and applicable saying: DEEDS, NOT WORDS!

Scott Walker has a record that is going to be a nightmare for the RATs to face. He has taken on the unions with great success in his state. He has consistently won in a deep blue state and it's not been a fluke either. He is a business success without being a HAHVAD or Yale graduate. That alone makes him a terrifying proposition to the elites that want to fill his administration in both senior & junior posts from the ranks of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) like the regimes of every single other administration, including Ronald Reagan.

That's the so called shadow government that everybody writes of and stresses over and has since the early 1920's. But a Walker administration would be or could be the first since William Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt just before to be without a committed core of people dedicated to creating the New World Order by executive fiat; subtle manipulation of legislation, treaties and agreements.

That he has apparently flip-flopped on some issues is completely irrelevant. That also makes your oft quoted threads irrelevant. Perhaps he was not as knowledgeable on those issues and formed an incorrect opinion. He has a right to gain information and adjust his attitudes and opinions and action plans accordingly. That's the purpose of becoming educated on these topics, especially those that he might not have had to deal with as a governor. I'm a teacher of government and history, this is my arena.

That he is getting money from people that you may not like or agree with. Again, irrelevant. The name of the political game is MONEY. That's what makes the world go 'round. To run a campaign like this you're going to need it by the metric ton! As long as the sources aren't prima facia illegal, then all's fair in love, war and politics. If he takes money from Al Quaeda or the KKK or the drug cartels, that's a different story. But not as much if it comes through a neutral and clean intermediary. He should be able to return it once an illegal source is identified and without lasting impact on his campaign. But just because you don't like a donor, doesn't make that donor or set of donors off limits. There is generally no Quid pro quo especially in the primary. General election may be a different paradigm.

Your persistent attempts to sway others off of him just because you feel maligned by those who do support him, is in my opinion, detestable. How's that feel? To have that word applied to you? We're all freepers here and we all by and large ride with the angels and not against them. We do our cause much harm by all this internecine fighting, especially at this early moments of the political season serves no purpose except to fragment this worthy forum.

Of course there are enemy TROLLS here, and I know you're NOT one of them. They are pretty easily spotted and if need be, ZOTTED by the ever present VIKING KITTY.

I've been watching this process ever since the election.... of 2008. It's my job as a teacher of social studies. I've been watching everybody scramble for "position," and watching them as the issues are raised and developed.

Thus far, Walker has emnerged in my mind as the best candidate to re-take the Oval for the good guys. If I were to name the dream team in my estimation right now, it'd be Walker at the top of the ticket and Cruz as the VEEP. That would give Cruz 8 years to get better acquainted with the process of governing correctly and under the Constitution and best position him to take the Oval for the subsequent 8 years. I figure that 16 years between them might be enough to undo the last 100 years of deliberate democrat corruption and deliberate furtherance of the NWO agenda.

Of course his really being very much pro-amnesty is not irrelevant. A pro-amnesty GOP president would have congress going along with him in a flash.

Those 20 million plus Latino voters (and majority welfare recipients) would be tripled by chain migration, but even before that any chance of any future, even vaguely conservative presidents or congressional majorities would be lost.

Who cares if Walker can beat Hillary if the result would be a permanent Leftist, Democrat majority?

I can’t believe the level of thinking that goes on on this board.

Can you not read? Just because YOU say he is pro-amnesty, doesn't make him so. For every quote you produce from the past that seems to indicate he is or WAS this way, quotes can be produced to show that he has changed and it is his right to do so. You are also very free to depart if you don't like the way folks on this board think. At least, bolt from this thread. You're being obdurate.
