Hot Air: President Obama says we must tackle global warming because it's already causing asthma rates to climb. But his argument is full of holes. In any case, didn't the U.N. climate chief say we need to depopulate the planet?

Malia wouldn’t be the first child of a smoker to have asthma...
You’d have to show me the hospital bills for the ‘emergency trip’ and the medical diagnosis before I’d believe that.
Which is why Iran needs the bomb...

I would suggest checking the bizarre diet that chewy is presenting to the kids.
And if you want to get asthma from pollution go visit your Buds in Red China where they burn coal for everything without scrubbers and the air is unbreathable
It's also a hustle that sells nebulizers and albuterol
According to the article, the argument from the eco tyrants is that GW leads to fires, which leads to more particulates, which leads to asthma.
The counter in the article is that EPA reports particulates going down, probably due to air qual controls.
So, maybe asthma rates go up due to the cleaner air. This could work in much the same way that cleaner water in the early 1900s led to polio.
It was discovered that early exposure to water w/higher levels of contaminants built the immune systems of children. When they cleaned up the water, the immune systems were not as strong and kids were more susceptible to certain bacteria, namely that causing polio.
So maybe the clean air is having the same type of effect.
BINGO !!!
...didn’t the U.N. climate chief say we need to depopulate the planet?...
This is a point of view is closely held by many Marxist/Progressives/Democrats/Planned Parenthood types.
They should all collectively (they love collectivism) lead by example and off themselves
She’s probably just allergic to Wookie dander.
It was from second hand smoke from tobacco and weed and maybe a hookah pipe.
I grew up in the 1960s and 70s in a town with smoke stacks and foundries.
Spent my summers on farms with cow flatulence manure and gasoline burning farm machinery.
Breathed leaded gas car exhaust while living next to a busy highway.
Painted barns with lead based paint.
Growing up in this much more polluted world, throughout my childhood and teens I do not know of one of my classmates or cousins that had asthma.
Maybe, except polio is caused by a virus.
Yes, but asthma is an immunological response. It can be triggered by both irritants and organisms.
2nd hand smoke form o’s cigsand mochelle’s farts did it
Exactly! I don’t believe this story!
Let me tell you about a true event. At 18 months my middle child suddenly developed severe asthma. There were multiple hospital stays and even one life flight. Thank God that at around two and a half the asthma disappeared as quickly as it had come. It was the year from hell. At the tail end of that experience, we received a letter from our insurance company (private through my employer, not obamacare) that due to the ACA our daughter’s asthma preventer was subject to “quantity limitations.” Yep. My two-year-old was death paneled.
The oldest fallacy - “Post hoc ergo propter hoc” This fallacy points to his livel of competence.
Common foods like dairy products...especially eggs and poultry...also trigger asthma.
Little kids are given lots of cow's milk....should be checked as a possible cause for attacks.

As for adult asthma----Robert Donat--Academy Award actor---had to quit acting b/c of severe asthma. One doctor diagnosed his problem as 90% psychosomatic.
