President Obama takes on Governor Scott Walker ["Won't be punching bag for these characters"]
Fox 6 Now ^ | April 8, 2015 | CNN wire

"...........In the most recent in a string of digs, the President this week slammed Walker for taking a “foolish approach” to the country’s nuclear negotiations with Iran, coolly suggesting the governor might benefit from taking “some time to bone up on foreign policy.”

When Walker signed in to law a controversial “right to work” bill in March, Obama called the state legislation “anti-worker”: “Even as its governor claims victory over working Americans, I’d encourage him to try and score a victory for working Americans,” the President said in a statement.

And at the annual Gridiron dinner in Washington, it was a more self-deprecating joke — at Walker’s expense. “Gov. Walker got some heat for staying silent when Rudy Giuliani said I don’t love America, which I also think is a problem,” Obama said. “Think about it, Scott. If I did not love America, I wouldn’t have moved here from Kenya.”

Bill Daley, Obama’s former chief of staff, said the President’s criticism of Walker shows that Obama has a freer hand compared to earlier in his term.

“I don’t think the President’s just going to sit there and be a punching bag for the next year or two for these characters,” Daley said, warning that Republican candidates would try to outdo each other by being “more outrageous” in their attacks on the President.

Asked Tuesday whether the president has an issue with Walker, White House press secretary Josh Earnest said the recent digs were “nothing personal.”

“But there’s no doubt, as I’m sure that even Governor Walker himself would be happy to tell you, that there are significant policy differences between the two men,” Earnest told reporters at a White House press briefing. “And there will be ample opportunity over the course of the next year or year and a half for us to discuss those differences.”..............

Agreed, Walker has done some great things in WI and we don’t need to divide our troops. We have a real enemy.

Pray America is waking

Rush believes Obama will never leave D.C. - that he’ll buy a place and be ensconced in the political fabric of the Capital. When any of his policies are questioned or rolled back, he can run to the media and get news coverage and headlines.

This “punching bag” comment lends credence to that notion.

No...listen to the taped video on the thread here...he’s drawn a line on anyone questioning him on foreign policy...he’s just set the game and the fool doesn’t know it.

Walker and other GOP candidates need to fire back that it is ironic to be lectured by a foreign policy failure. The recite a list of failures.

Obama’s also making a not so subtle dig by implying that Scott Walker is too stupid [ala Howard Dean] to be president. But the joke is Obama, as he keeps reacting to Walker.

Sounded to me like Obama was drawing another red line to any of the candidates questioning him on foreign policy...also that he sees himself defiantly as "ruler" and untouchable because he sits on the throne.

Now if you were a candidate what would your reaction be after this?...This is what's going to happen

“....Walker’s political committee responded to the president’s remarks Tuesday morning with the following statement, attributed to Walker:

“President Obama’s failed leadership has put him at odds with many across the country, including members of his own party, and key allies around the world. Americans would be better served by a president who spent more time working with governors and members of Congress rather than attacking them. Whether it is cutting a bad deal with Iran, calling ISIS the JV squad, or touting Yemen as a success story, Obama’s lack of leadership has hurt America’s safety and standing in the world.”

Well you’re right about that too...but this guy spoke volumes that he’s King and don’t anybody think otherwise that they can question his throne.

He’s going to do all he can to save the Iran deal-no-deal and what’s happening throughout the ME he’s got his hands on. Not going to let candidates leave him without a legacy.....which is the only thing he wants.

They need to do so without revealing their campaign agendas or too much information....rather target the fool! Just as Walker just did to this.

Right, because we know Obama was an expert in foreign policy when he was running for President and criticizing Bush. SMFH

Instead of worrying about what Scott Walker is saying.... he should be asking Putin if he can have his emails back.
