As a young girl, Chelsea Clinton learned to keep secrets. But she also learned to call the Secret Service 'pigs.' That's a claim from former White House florist Ronn Payne, retold in a new book based on interviews with more than 100 members of the presidential mansion's domestic staff. As he walked into the second-floor kitchen one day, he saw Chelsea talking on the phone. A member of her Secret Service protective detail came in behind him to take the Clintons' only child to school. 'Oh, I’ve got to go. The pigs are here,' she told her phone pal, according to Payne – using a 1960s-era epithet for law enforcement.

Well, it meant “police”, and was common parlance in the 60’s and 70’s, so I’m sure they saw it as a joke. Don’t get uptight man!
I remember that terminology from the 1960s. However that was a long, long time ago. It is bizarre for someone to be using that term in the 1990s - especially by a President of the United States

It never fails. Democrats (at least as far back as the Carters) always treat the Secret Service like dirt, and Republicans are gracious, considerate, and respectful. Reagan stayed at the WH for Christmas so as many agents as possible could be home with their families.
One time he came to a bachelor party and one friend was pretty drunk and was always a pretty annoying drunk. He kept pestering my Secret Service buddy to show him his takedown moves... and after about 15 minutes of continuous drunken whining, out of nowhere, he drops the drunk guy in a submission move. We were just absolutely laughing our asses off.
Good times. Good times.
The whole idea of a “secret service” to put their lives on the line for our rulers is creepy, fascistic, and totally un-American.
I'm sure her rebellious steak has been drummed out and she's now perfectly happy to be royalty protected by little people. Probably a topic of discussion when her parents and the Bush family get together.
On second thought, what decent upstanding American would help protect those who are destroying our country?
Chelsea said it. Not her parents. Imagine you’re a teen running around being followed by basically cops. I don’t know, that seems pretty benign to me. Disrespectful, but expected of a young budding rebel born to a traitorous lech.
