(CNSNews.com) – Seventy percent of American males between the ages of 20 and 34 are not married, and many live in a state of “perpetual adolescence” with ominous consequences for the nation’s future, says Janice Shaw Crouse, author of “Marriage Matters.”
“Far too many young men have failed to make a normal progression into adult roles of responsibility and self-sufficiency, roles generally associated with marriage and fatherhood,” Crouse, the former executive director of the Beverly LaHaye Institute, wrote in a recent Washington Times oped.
The high percentage of bachelors means bleak prospects for millions of young women who dream about a wedding day that may never come. “It’s very, very depressing,” Crouse told CNSNews.com. “They’re not understanding how important it is for the culture, for society, for the strength of the nation to have strong families.”

It was never about "choice" in her murderous worldview.
I went to a seminar and the speaker has done lots of research - average age of the end of adolescence in men is something like 28-29 now. Due in part to weak family structures, diverse options in beliefs, society open to all sorts of values, and the rapid media.
Back in the day, when I guy hit 13 or 14 he KNEW who he was (he was from THIS tribe, they held THESE beliefs, HIS profession would be that of his fathers, etc).
I know some guys that are married and have kids that are STILL in adolescence.
The men are making a rational choice.
60% of college students are women. Most women will not consider marrying a man less credentialed than they are, or who makes less money than them.
A disproportionate share of women are seeking to wait until their late 20’s or 30 to try to get married; spending the intervening years racking up tens of thousands of dollars of debt, and having sex with bad boys.
Studies have shown the risk of divorce rises significantly if the woman has had more than one sexual partner prior to marriage.
Getting married to one of these women, with the attendant risk of divorce, and owing alimony for an indefinite period, is not a winning move. Nor even an intelligent one.
The women should stop being entitled sluts.
There is a small but growing number of American men, who are into dating/match services, which specifically match American men with women from other countries.
From what I have heard, most of the women involved are from Asia, Latin America, Russia, and Eastern Europe. And what they all have in common, is that these women are from cultures in which they were raised with more traditional values and gender norms, if I can use that term.
These women were not raised or behave in the manner of the American women which so many American men are rejecting.
These women come to relationships and marriage with a different set of expectations and assumptions than do these American college educated females.
Why buy the cow when the milk is free?

I agree. It was better off back when people were shamed into behaving, as sad as that is. People nowadays are less controlled than animals in heat, and these psycho feminists encouraging women to not be “slut-shamed” makes it worse.

The only issue is if the woman soaks up feminism upon moving to the States. And some manosphere regulars say feminism is metastasizing into formerly traditional countries, e.g. Poland and Brazil...

I fall into the age-range, and I am not married. I have nothing against getting hitched, but I'm not going to marry some crazy-ass bitch on wheels just for the sake of it. Normal, balanced, nice women seem few and far between, at least in this country. Doesn't hurt to be good-looking either, to be honest, and a lot of women don't even try to maximize what they have to work with.
Given the divorce rate and the draconian divorce laws, I’m surprised 30% are married.
There has been no practical need for marriage for some time.
Women want to be like men. They practice contraception and teeat males like sex objects
They believe equality is acting like the worst of men
They provide a world that is the dream of a 17 year old boy
The Catholic Church predicted this in 1968. The pope researched ANC put out a publication that rejected birth control and all it’s trappings such as this dissolution of family, gender bending, the objectification of women and abortion
It was rejected by the American clergy who still wait for the enemy of all that is good to change its mind and retreat.
