I’d love to see the exact result Duke got in Madison - which is damned hard to do. But that’s 30 games ago - in college, that means an entirely different game.

[Gotta pull for the state’s team on this one...even if it is Duke.]

I have no idea what you are talking about.

We’ll have to disagree. It is an indication. Not having played at all would be zero indication. And a victory on an opponent’s court is always weighted more heavily.

But, as they say, that’s why they play the games.

Duke by 5.

takes a special kind of reptile to post bomb a thread they claim not to care about. Anyone who does so is speaking volumes about themselves.

If you can’t figure it out, just call Frasier Crane and get an appointment.

I think you must have read someone else’s post.

My posts may not have added much to the discussion but they were about as innocuous as they could possibly be.

Okay, it’s an indication that they can win, but that’s not really anything surprising - and it’s something we could glean without a head to head game.

But both teams are dramatically different. The best player in the NCAA tournament (Dekker) was hurt in the Duke game, and was not a factor. Also, Wisky is using a player named Koenig more now, and he’s their spark plug.

Meanwhile Duke shot 65% from the field. They’re not likely to duplicate that effort. Duke is also much different now, and better. It’s a high speed collision coming...two teams still changing and still improving even now.

I don’t buy totally innocuous, but I won’t debate that. I’ll just say they added nothing to the conversation and leave it at that. Good evening....

I’ve noticed a large influx of Badger fans flowing into town today, picking up discount tix from the Kentucky partisans.

I’ve looked at that so-called flagrant foul over and over again, and I guarantee you, the ball was going by. The Kentucky player’s focus and attempted direction was toward the ball. His arm movements were part of his going toward the ball. And the hand that hit the Wisconsin face was not slapping but was grabbing for purchase on something, anything. It was even a base of the hand contact and not a slap at all.

So, I’m in full agreement with the refs. It wasn’t flagrant at all, not in light of the ball going by in that direction at just that time. It was a foul, but it was connected to going after the ball and not at all any attempt to simply slap some player for the heck of it.

The more I think about it, the angrier I am getting.

You must be a total jackass. I mean a total jackass, not a half ass or even part ass.

Yeah, that makes sense. Wisconsin is a much much bigger school than Duke, and has a multiple of Duke’s alums. I’m sure it will be a Wisconsin crowd.

Duke is used to that in these domed stadiums in the NCAA.

I can’t publicly bet against Duke.....but I’m very nervous about this game. Wisconsin is playing amazing now. Like I said, high speed collision.

I predict a Wisconsin win in a blowout.

Wisconsin is not the same team Duke beat earlier in the year.
