We’ll have to disagree. It is an indication. Not having played at all would be zero indication. And a victory on an opponent’s court is always weighted more heavily.

But, as they say, that’s why they play the games.

Okay, it’s an indication that they can win, but that’s not really anything surprising - and it’s something we could glean without a head to head game.

But both teams are dramatically different. The best player in the NCAA tournament (Dekker) was hurt in the Duke game, and was not a factor. Also, Wisky is using a player named Koenig more now, and he’s their spark plug.

Meanwhile Duke shot 65% from the field. They’re not likely to duplicate that effort. Duke is also much different now, and better. It’s a high speed collision coming...two teams still changing and still improving even now.
