Duke based on regular-season stats: Duke is higher in total net points per game than Wisconsin.

Duke is #2 in offense points and Wisconsin is #10 in defensive points (fewest points against). So most the most skilled match-up will be Duke offense against Wisconsin defense.

Wisconsin has beat the Big Boys so who knows, destiny may be on their side.

Could be. Duke has a stronger offense than Kentucky had. Kentucky and Wisconsin are both top defensive teams but less so on offense. Duke has the #2 offense in the NCAA.

Should be a classic game. Bo Ryan is going for his fifth NCAA championship as well (the other 4 were in Division III).

You climb back into the game and take a 4 point lead then during the next 3 possessions try to run the clock down with no set play. There is probably no other time in tournament history in the Final Four where one team had 3 straight shot clock violations.

Frank the Tank didn’t play in one of the losses by Wisconsin... I know I heard them say that.

Still, I’m for Wisconsin, I figure Duke though is very formidable here. (obviously)

What is wrong with these players? They can’t put their hands over their hearts when they hear the National Anthem?

I’m a big ACC backer, and I’ve been for Duke all the way. BUT— tonight I really am leaning Wisconsin-— because of all the stuff being tossed at them. It is Kaminsky’s last game. Let him go out a winner. Okafor has years ahead of him. I also revere Coach K, but just getting to this point shows how good he is. To me the two teams that get to this point are winners. Too bad we have to choose.

I’m having to watch basketball because our pastor told the congregation to cheer for Wisconsin, and for once my husband is doing what he’s told. I’m stuck with Contour TV on my iPad and Airbuds. Go Wisconsin bah bah bah.

Duke’s uniforms are so white, they could be starting for Wisconsin.

KY and WISC were tied up at half too, I think that was 32 32,

Here we have 31 31.

Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker and North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory Propose Friendly Wager for NCAA Championship Game

Monday, April 6, 2015 - Press Release

Madison – Governors Scott Walker and Pat McCrory offered up a friendly wager today on tonight’s NCAA Championship game.

“This is such an incredible moment for all of us here in Wisconsin,” Governor Walker said.  “The members of the Badger men’s basketball team represent Wisconsin so well with their talent, class, personality, and great character.  Duke is a formidable opponent, but this is Wisconsin’s year to bring home the victory.  Make ‘em believe!”

Governor Walker bet an assortment of Wisconsin cheese, sausage, and root beer that the Wisconsin Badgers will win, while Governor McCrory wagered North Carolina barbecue, coleslaw, hush puppies and Cheerwine for a Duke victory.

The Badgers tip off against the Blue Devils tonight at 8:18 p.m. CT.  The game takes place at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
