INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) The state of Indiana is watching dueling GoFundMe campaigns after the firestorm of RFRA.
One was established for Memories Pizza and the other for LGBT youth in Indiana.
Memories Pizza is the Indiana pizza shop whose owners said their religious beliefs wouldnt allow them to cater a gay wedding.
Their GoFundMe site, benefiting the restaurant had raised more than $550,000 as of Friday morning.
The Indiana Youth Group had a campaign established to raise funds that is in direct response to the Memories Pizza campaign.
As of Friday morning, they had raised $2,700.
Their GoFundMe site states that Take a minute after youre done trolling Memories on Yelp and being angry about it on Facebook and Twitter and put $1 where your mouth is and do something positive that will have a direct impact on LGBT youth in the state of Indiana.
Only goes to show that conservatives really ARE generous givers, unlike the tight-fisted Left.
Guessing after the CEO`s pitch in it will hit a gazillion in no time
The “marketing” techniques used by the LGBT are hardly effective. “angry”, “put your money where your mouth is”, “trolling”.
I guess this is war.
What is the other fund for?
Burning down Christian-owned businesses?
Not to worry, their millions in govt funding should be coming in soon.
Obviously the glbt’s will need to see the names of those who donated to the pizza place so that they can be called out for the homophobes that they are. After all, it’s only fair. Right?
200 to 1, that’s about right, Christians vs queers.
Ha.
Christians 553, Queers 3! Looks like a blowout for the Christians!
Yet the Freepathon has only raised less than $4k. We need to put our money where are words are.
What is the other fund for?
“Burning down Christian-owned businesses?”
That is a good guess.
Sounds like someone is trying to get some easy money. “Help” homosexual youth? What the hell does that mean?
“200 to 1, thats about right, Christians vs queers.”
Works for me.
Krystalnacht.
“Christians 553, Queers 3! Looks like a blowout for the Christians!”
And we ain’t done yet.
It will be interesting to see the over-time curves of the fundraising, where the 3-day head start for Memories is compared to the day-by-day totals of the counter culture fund.
This disparity in crowdsourced funding shows that there is a gigantic backlash building against small minority and their enablers in the MSM. It may be turning into a repeat of what happened to Chick-Fil-A.
