The pizza shop in Walkerton, Ind. a small town of about 2,200 people about 20 miles south of South Bend doesnt look like the epicenter of a national controversy. The black-and-white linoleum and red booths are unassuming the decor of any take-out joint anywhere in America. A Triple XXX Root Beer will set you back $2. It even has a piano and a prayer suggestion box.
Every day before we open the store, we gather and pray together, reads a sign posted in the store, which also boasts numerous crosses, including one that says Glorify the Lord. If there is something you would like us to pray for, just write it down and drop it in the box.
But Memories Pizza a Walkerton mainstay, according to local media, for more than a decade is feeling the heat of a great debate about religious freedom and gay rights. Memories has been billed by a local ABC affiliate as the first business to publicly deny same-sex service after Gov. Mike Pence (R) signed the states Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA) into law. Many feel the law, which advocates say is intended to protect religious freedom, will result in discrimination against homosexuals. . .

They’re gaycists!!! lol
Gov. Mallof was more interested finding ways to raise taxes on the middle class to do his research.
Governor Dannel P. Malloy is real dumb one. I feel for you. Here in NM we survived Gov. Bill Richardson. It was painful as well but we ended up with Susana Martinez and she has been good for the state.
Yes! I have to get to an appointment soon, so I won't be able to stay on FR much longer this afternoon. Hope others continue to bump this thread...
So happy I was able to help the good people of Memories Pizza!!
bttt
Good. I hate..... well, everything.
Yes.
I wonder if all this recent yowling by Malloy re: Indiana is to help cover up the fact that Controller Kevin Lembo yesterday announced a $173 million *deficit* in CT's General Fund... $40 million more than expected. So far, Malloy's "cuts" have totaled about $13 million.
Also... as you probably know, the stupid $600 million New Britain to Hartford bus-way ("CT Fastrak") opened over the weekend, and has been a disaster so far. As CT Republicans predicted, NO ONE is riding the stupid thing. On Monday, the authorities at Fastrak were reluctant to report that only SIX riders used it to commute from NB to Hartford. So that's $100 million per rider!! LOL!
NBC Connecticut reported on Tuesday night that the brand-new Fastrak buses have been breaking down, and have been very slow when they ARE running. The handful of people who rode the thing on Monday and Tuesday complained that they didn't get to work on time, and it was a very s-l-o-w ride. Fastrak responded: "Well, Fastrak riders can enjoy the free WiFi in the buses, and work remotely until they get to their offices."
LOL, I kid you not!!! ;-D
That’s right, Laz. We’re all just a buncha Haters! ;-)
Olive to see the fascist gay-stapo taking a beating for what it's done to this little store owner....and you'll love it, too.
Send a few bucks....and you'll have your own little pizza conservative fund-raising history.
Any way you slice it, you and I can make it pan out for this tiny business!
(....I know, I know....groan...LOL)

I just made you a pizza with everything.
and then go set up a "gofundme" page!
40% of the take can go to FR, 40% to Ted Cruz's campaign, 10% to the church and the balance can be split 50-50 between me and the pizza shop.
Indiana completely caved. So the Republican party of Indiana DIRECTLY DECLARES they are for the legal persecution of Christians. It is time to LEAVE the f***** party now!
I'm so happy to support the good people of Memories Pizza...
The Indiana GOP has chosen to take a stand against God??? That won't end well.
Wow way cool nutmeg, thanks for the ping!
I was watching the GFMe thingie from the beginning and it snowballed from the very beginning.
He is also an associate of James O’Keefe...that makes him A-OK in my book.

Why not put up a FR GoFundMe site and see what happens.
Well played.
Yes, it's so exciting to see how fast it's grown in just an hour or so (probably mostly thanks to Rush).
I have to leave for now... looking forward to checking back later to see how the total has grown. Happy to help the good people of Memories Pizza. :-)
