Oh there are “ways” to deal with this stuff that won’t get the media attention because it’s intended to make a point and does. And it doesn’t have to be violent or anything of that nature.
The problem is people ‘react’ rather than think ahead...of how to protect themselves from this nonsense....which is just what it is.
I like the idea the owner wasn’t afraid to close shop for awhile.....gays like late night pizza and guess what....they ain’t getting it! HE’s basically telling them you keep making a fuss I’ll pick up and take my business somewhere else.

Looks like they were put on the spot by a news crew from out of town, who then blew it up into a story:
There is no “refusal to serve gays” or “anti-gay”.
They might also decline to cater a same-sex “marriage” (illegal every state under Clinton) if a hetero mother came in to request it.
Shouldn’t there be a right to refuse to sell a product based on its intended use? A rope or gun, where the buyer stated an intent for suicide or murder? A cake with swastika decorations to celebrate Kristallnacht?
And the news crew that ambushed that little girl came from ABC57 out of South Bend Indiana. Home of Notre Dame. It sure would be nice if the University there would freeze ABC57 out of any and all news stories having to do with Notre Dame.
No press release needed, no statement,,,, just stop answering their phone calls. Give them no access when you invite news to cover something. No seat in the pressbox at the games,,, etc.
Then allow memories pizza a concession stand at ND events.
