Will Scott Walker Announce for President Today?
P.J. Tattler ^ | April 1, 2015

Posted on 04/01/2015 7:27:54 AM PDT by Cincinatus' Wife

The Wisconsin governor has just promised a big announcement for 10 a.m. Central Daylight Time:

Scott Walker ‏@ScottWalker 5m5 minutes ago

Big announcement coming up at 10:00AM CT. Signup to hear the news first: http://hubs.ly/y0G20x0 – SKW #Forward

If so, he would be the second declared candidate for the GOP nomination, along with Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas. Two good, strong conservatives who know how to take the fight to the enemy and to their own party, when need be. More, please.

Yep, Cruz sucked all the oxygen out of the room for the past week or two with his brilliant early announcement.

Walker best jump in quick or risk losing his front runner spot.

I’m for Walker. The only major question to me was whether he was going to run for POTUS or not. I’ve been hearing about him for a long time from my mother in law in WI.

Nothing against people on the Cruz ship, but I think Walker would be a better choice.

Word was that an announcement, if one was coming, would be this summer due to state budget business.

I like Scott, but want to see him doing aggressive intelligent communication of conservative principles while continuing to have the intelligence to not answer the media’s irreverent land mine questions.

So far, Scott has done a better job on the ladder part, but Cruz has just been knocking it out of the park on the first part.

I am not 100% committed to Cruz, but I gave him money.

Who ever is able to most exemplify these two points in my eyes wins my support including all my money I can spare.

With him announcing, I need to start determining this immediately.

If the ‘clutter candidates’ will bow out early, it would be a good primary season with Walker v Cruz v Bush OR Rubio v Rand.

I don't see Rubio making much headway as long as Bush is running.

‘clutter candidates’ - those hangers-on who clutter the debate stages and primaries even though they seldom attain double-digit polls.

communication of conservative principles

Kinda hard for Walker to do, not being an actual Conservative and all.

As far as I’m concerned, he’s meat-on-a-stick from his cutesy tap-dancing around the amnesty and religious freedom issues.

Rubio might be more conservative, but he has adapted to establishment life enough to become dependent on it, Bush can get his donors to force him out.

This is why we have been ending up with establishment candidates.

They force them out on the left, and the field is too full on the right.

Defacto Establishment Win!
