Go Cruz.

Many Democrats may not openly admit their own stupidity out of embarrassment but in the quiet of the voting both I bet many will vote for Cruz to undo some of the damage of their last votes.

Why not just undo all EOs of the past, let’s say for an arbitrary number, 25 years?

Might as well undo the SB on Odumbo’s first day to seal all his private documents from the DC law firm and have it shown to the public if he really did graduate and actually have a BC.

Including the first one sealing up everything everyone wants to know about a Republican president?

Hey, why is Michael Savage so anti-Cruz?

I caught about 30 seconds of him last week and was surprised at the vitriol.

It bothers me that he has to undo anything unconstitutional at all.

Can’t we all just ignore it?

One would expect he would cancel all of them, constitutional or otherwise.

I’d love to see Cruz be more specific here - lay out exactly what executive orders he would undo, and why each one was unconstitutional.

I realize it’s early in the campaign, but one of the (many) issues that hurt Romney in 2012 was the criticism that he laid out proposals that were overly general and never got into specifics. If Cruz were to get specific on things like this early, he would (a) avoid, or at least blunt, that criticism, and (b) put his opponents (primary and general) of either looking like they’re late to the party or, even better, of needing to defend specific unconstitutional executive actions taken by Obama.

I agree, every executive order since Reagan needs to be thrown out the window on Cruz’s first day in office

I been saying on these threads that each candidate needs to be asked specifically what they would do on each executive order, one by one, with follow questions.

Like, what specifically would you do with the illegals ? Even ones who came here as kids now adults?

Similarly with Obamacare, ask them what happens with those who become uninsured.

They will be asked these in the general for sure so the sooner the better

I would be willing to be that Cruz won’t be on the freaking fairway every other week like Obozo. That guy seems like he would work his ass off.

Because that is not a practical or necessary approach - many executive orders are, in fact, constitutional, as they relate to the President’s role as head of the Executive branch.

Better to conduct a thorough review of each EO, on a case-by-case basis, to determine (i) whether it is Constitutional and (ii) if it is Constitutional, whether it is good policy.

A blanket cancel works; then after evaluation re-instate the sparse few that really follow the spirit of EOs and are needed (to actually run the executive; not to force, for example, climate change or crimigration)

What authority would President Cruz (doesn’t that just sound great?) have to release the personal records of Obama or any other citizen? The point of electing someone like Cruz would be to return the government to its proper role, not to just engage in the same illegal/unconstitutional conduct with a different political purpose.
