We do NOT want religious freedom around here! That First Amendment in the Bill of Rights has GOT to go!! We MUST make people of faith do things against their conscience!!!

Walmart???

What is Walmart going to refuse to build stores on AK?

Who is Walmart to tell a state what to do?

A grocery store a few miles from where I live closed a year after the nearby Walmarts started selling groceries, and I notice most of the losers who shop there use cash only.

Some important information for readers...

First clause of the First Amendment of the Bill of Rights:
"Congress shall make no law ... prohibiting the free exercise thereof" [of religion]

Only operative clause of the Indiana Law (which was bill SB101):
"no governmental entity may substantially burden a person's exercise of religion"

Indiana's Constitution (Bill of Rights Article 1, Sections 2-3):
Section 2. All people shall be secured in the natural right to worship ALMIGHTY GOD, according to the dictates of their own consciences.
Section 3. No law shall, in any case whatever, control the free exercise and enjoyment of religious opinions, or interfere with the rights of conscience.

The LGBT folks have gotten millions marching and boycotting by standing up against the Constitutions of both the US and of Indiana, simply by saying "this will (somehow) lead to discrimination against gays".

The only answer to stupid corporations like these is to sign the bill and spit in their faces.

Yea lets ignore what the country was founded, lets give those who are homosexuals more rights than what the founding fathers gave.

Shut the hell up Walmart, and I have to hand it to the homosexuals and the left. They have took over the media, and now nearly all major business and sports.

How about all Christians, Muslims, Jews which follow Judaism, Hindu’s etc all boycott these stores and that will make these CEO’s shut up and probably be replaced

"Today's passage of HB1228 threatens to undermine the spirit of inclusion present throughout the state of Arkansas and does not reflect the values we proudly uphold," McMillon said in a statement.

Yes we want to uphold the values of Arkansas but we don’t want people to be able to act on those values without fear of retribution.

This is what happens when you don’t show any resolve. When you retreat and look weak, they go for it all.

I once worked in materials department of a major refrigeration company, which served mainly WalMart.

When ordering parts for their units I was told to forget the price list for Walmart, as they tell US what they will pay, and that’s it. If we don’t concur, we could lose the Walmart account.

They do that to a lot of suppliers, so they’re a definite force in the marketplace, however, there is one thing they can’t do, and that’s to force people to shop there.

This company has ruined many small businesses throughout the USA. In our city, it became nearly a ghost town about a year after Walmart arrived. The local merchants just couldn’t compete.

Companies who get that big and cocky talk themselves into believing that they are an arm of the government.

Remember, Hillary used to be on their board of directors. That goes to their “judgment” and ideology.

Someone should ask Doug McMillon why his company does most of their business with the China, a country that discriminates and abuses human rights routinely.

So when is Asa supposed to sign the bill that he said he would sign; assuming he doesn’t get cold feet?

I live in Indiana and have seen first hand the insanity that is occurring.

It is not just that there is a hostility towards people of faith. Government and business does not hate religion.....afterall, they do have their religion that they worship: Money
