There's something very dangerous happening in states across the country.
A wave of legislation, introduced in more than two dozen states, would allow people to discriminate against their neighbors. Some, such as the bill enacted in Indiana last week that drew a national outcry and one passed in Arkansas, say individuals can cite their personal religious beliefs to refuse service to a customer or resist a state nondiscrimination law.
Others are more transparent in their effort to discriminate. Legislation being considered in Texas would strip the salaries and pensions of clerks who issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples — even if the Supreme Court strikes down Texas' marriage ban later this year. In total, there are nearly 100 bills designed to enshrine discrimination in state law.
These bills rationalize injustice by pretending to defend something many of us hold dear. They go against the very principles our nation was founded on, and they have the potential to undo decades of progress toward greater equality.
America's business community recognized a long time ago that discrimination, in all its forms, is bad for business. At Apple, we are in business to empower and enrich our customers' lives. We strive to do business in a way that is just and fair.
That's why, on behalf of Apple, I'm standing up to oppose this new wave of legislation — wherever it emerges. I'm writing in the hopes that many more will join this movement. From North Carolina to Nevada, these bills under consideration truly will hurt jobs, growth and the economic vibrancy of parts of the country where a 21st-century economy was once welcomed with open arms.

I am not “buying Tim Cook” himself when I buy Apple Products, I’m buying the best products around. With the “political matters” on the other hand, I’ll still be backing my conservative candidates and will be supporting my legislators in passing conservative laws.

Someone wants to be gay, fine. It’s a free country.
But. I have a right to be free from having this garbage pushed on me. And that’s what these laws are about. These laws aren’t an action but a reaction. If these gay rights “activists” weren’t harassing mom and pops out of business in the first place with their intolerance campaigns, then there wouldn’t be a need to pass legislation to protect small business owners against the tactic.
The intolerance on display isn’t the law but the actions these laws are designed to prevent.
What this law really does is prevents left-wing activists from using the courts to force reasonable people into accepting their deviant practices. But the bakers and photographers and other wedding business owners are not trying to outlaw gay activity, they are simply conscientious objectors. And they don't want their conscience to be bullied by gay activists.
Therefore, I would have called this law the Conscientious-Objector Anti-Bullying Law.
Those are code words that the left loves when it applies to themselves, it's time to ask for the same tolerance.
The authoritarianism of the Messiah will be turned against corrupt leaders, not the people. And the natural law of God-given rights will still be the law, because it comes from God. And as for guns, the Messiah will greatly enjoy a free people who are completely loaded up with guns, because they are a direct road to a mature, polite and sane society - and they're fun, too. In fact, the only problem with guns is that not enough people have them - something I'm sure the Messiah will correct.
I can assure you I’m no troll. I just don’t like Apple products. My friends and family all do, but I’ve “test driven” a few and didn’t like them.
Obviously, I’m in a minority as it appears Apple is doing quite well without me. And since I believe in capitalism, I say, more power to them and to their customers like you.

No problem! That’s never been something that I’ve insisted someone else should do. I appreciate your attitude and can respect it a whole lot better than some of those others! “Live long and prosper!” ... :-) ...
I know that the Messiah of Israel will get rid of all those opposed to his rule, so like you say, that rule will be directed towards those who are good (namely “saved” having accepted him as their personal savior).
But as far as being totally disarmed, yes the world will be totally disarmed and there will be no more weapons ... because there is no need for weapons. All the expense that has gone into that, in the past and present will then (under His rule) be directed towards things that improve society and not things used to protect oneself from evil and assault and other crimes. It will be the first time in human history that mankind could ever be totally disarmed! The Messiah of Israel will be the protection for everyone!
And also during that new world brought to earth by the Messiah, there will be no more carnivores and other animals eaten by those carnivores, as all animals will live peacefully with one another, not killing one another, and even those vicious carnivores and very dangerous animals will play with little children, nothing harming any other thing in creation! And that will include humans not harming any of those living creatures (i.e., “killing” them).
The indications are from the prior explanations in the Bible, also, that at that time, that our meat-eating society will be no more, having gone to vegetarianism. We can’t do that now, but we will be that way when the Messiah of Israel rules.
Many things that we take for granted now, or think “that is my right” will no longer exist. It’s a RADICALLY DIFFERENT SOCIETY!
I have often made this pledge. To never buy an Apple product again or until Tim Kook takes homo-conversion therapy to revert back to hetero. The religious type therapy and counseling that does this
Do you have to be gay to buy an Apple product or to work there? No, but it helps. I know Rush Limbaugh is not gay. As for the other Apple customers, this goes on a case by case basis.
If Tim Kook resigned tomorrow I might look into a new iPad to replace the one I stomped to bits the first time around that Tim Kook came out flaming about some gay “issues”
That was a waste of a good product! If you had told me, beforehand, I would have given you some MONEY for it ... :-) ... then you could have just screamed out loud in your back yard!
I'm guessing you're intelligent enough that you managed to adapt to using something else just as effectively without a lot of difficulty.
