A San Jose neighborhood was shut down Sunday morning when a man with a machete went on a rampage.
It happened on Mocho Court, near the Tully Road 101 exit
Neighbors said around 10:30 a.m., the suspect went walking around the neighborhood with a machete. Later, he smashed a car with the weapon and then went into his garage and started lighting items on fire.
Police surrounded the suspect and he was taken into custody.
The suspect's sister said he may have wanted police to take his life.
The suspect has not been identified, and nobody was hurt.

Another gardener gone bad! I hear he went over the edge when he heard they were going to ban gas powered blowers and would have to actually sweep crap up instead of blowing on to other properties.

He should have been shot to death.Do you have more information on this incident which would justify execution?
All we know from the article is he was walking around the neighborhood with a tool. No indication provided that he threatened or hurt anyone.
Do we know if the car was his? The wonderful media didn't say.
If the car belonged to another, then the police can take a malicious destruction of property report.
He then went into HIS garage and started burning things, which being in HIS garage probably were his.
Have the Fire Department come protect exposures and leave the man alone, unless, or until he actually does something to someone else.

He should have been shot to death. You should have had a shot instead of posting.
Or, you shouldn't have had that shot before you posted.
Your pick.

I say “No Joke” and recall,as a child, that area was primarily whites and Mexicans.
Now, it’s a melting pot of 3rd worlders, which I guess is okay.
I like Mexican food (anything), Vietnamese, Chinese, Indian and so forth. But, it is completely transformed in to immigrant central.
Not a terribly bad thing...
