Indiana's controversial Religious Freedom Restoration Act will not be changing despite critics saying it allows business owners to discriminate against members of the LGBT community, state Gov. Mike Pence said today during an exclusive interview on ABC's "This Week."

This is the interview you were referring to on that other thread.
When he’s voted out and replaced with a Democrat, this law will instantly be stricken from the books.
Might be a campaign issue next time around, just sayin’.
Do these freedom of religion laws give people in that state the right to refuse to make the wedding cake or provide flowers to the gay couples?

Glad you weren’t with Washington crossing the Delaware.
That is the impression I get.
Hence the uproar.
Bingo.
If hundreds of protesters are so dedicated to their sexual orientation, homosexuals should do business with homosexual friendly business owners. There is profit to be made if there is such a large demand.
what the hell is so controversial when all this law does it to protect the 1st amendment.
No it seems that the left who are out to destroy religious freedom because they want to force their homosexual agenda on the country have now come to a stumbling block.
Bingo!!
There was a time when the homosexuals and the left along with the liberaltarians said it was their private business and they just want to be left alone.
Now a law comes about protecting ones religious freedom, the very core why this country was founded and they see their homosexual agenda not being able to be forced as much on the people who don’t even want the homosexual agenda.
Any law not endorsed by liberals = “controversial.”
Yes. But those are not essential services like food, lodging, medical care, et al. They are luxury services.
the people that want to make a buck will make a buck ,they will advertize ,”come over and get your Gay cake”
Stand tall Indiana! Meanwhile, here in Georgia, “Republicans” gutted a similar bill this year.
Thanks for the clarification. That’s what I thought.
Homosexuals and liberals are trying to be victims again by claiming discrimination and yet it is the homosexuals suing Christian businesses.
That in itself shows how stupid the left is.
<< controversial >>
Not to me or the vast majority of Americans. Forcing a Christian bakery to provide services to LGBTXYZ activists or go bankrupt violates the First Amendment. Period.
Not gonna happen.
