BREAKING: Obama Trying to STOP the US Army From Prosecuting Bergdahl
Wounded American Warrior ^ | 03-28-2015

Posted on 03/28/2015 9:09:24 PM PDT by Kevin in California

President Barack Obama has certainly staked a lot on the fate of likely deserter Bowe Bergdahl. He sacrificed the lives of several of our men in uniform in a vain attempt to rescue him, then traded five Taliban terrorists from Guantanamo Bay for his release.

Now, it appears the president is even willing to obstruct justice for Bergdahl. Recent reports indicate that senior Department of Defense officials are doing their best to poison the well for those prosecuting Bergdahl.

...not enough attention has been given to the lives of the soldiers who were injured or lost as a result of trying to retrieve Bowe Bergdahl. The soldiers who died were Private First Class Morris Walker, Staff Sergeant Clayton Bowen, Staff Sergeant Kurt Curtiss, Second Lieutenant Darryn Andrews, Private First Class Matthew Martinek, and Staff Sergeant Michael Murphrey. See Photos at #10.

Thanks Lucy

I respectfully disagree with you on the concept of “puppet masters” and what it implies. It implies one or more folks control 300+ million people sort of like a “puppet master” controls a puppet.

What I do agree with you on is American elections of late are negatively influenced in many ways that arguably effect outcomes some times. For example what the GOPe did to Chris McDaniels in Mississippi.

Then, there are the corrupt democratic polling places where physical intimidation occurs to enforce stuffing ballot boxes, scaring people from polls, etc etc.

Then, there are illegal hundreds of millions of dollars from foreign sources.

Then illegal millions from domestic sources.

Then, no enforcement by a criminal DOJ.

Then, countless thousands vote multiple times or when they are not eligible.

Then, dead people vote.

Then, democrats cross over in run offs (McDaniels/Cochran).

Then, millions of our guys stay home.

Bottom line, I think things are F’d up, but I don’t think there is an all powerful maestro acting as a puppeteer.

An honest DOJ could reduce or stop most of this.

Call me an Obama enabler (many people have), but I didn’t hold my nose & vote for Romney. I voted in 2012, but left the POTUS selection blank ‘cuz (1) the Constitution Party didn’t gather enough signatures to appear on the ballot here in AR & (2) I thought the GOP nominee was a RINO. When something stinks, I walk away from it.

What amazes me is that EVERYONE is appalled, outraged, etc, etc... Yet, NO ONE, politically, or otherwise, has seriously challenged this lawlessness administration.

All of these issues must exist only in the "Pontification Zone".

That's very much like the "Twilight Zone" but without any serious ramifications or outcome.

Thank you, but I feel like I am walking on eggshells & could be kicked out at any time due to my being a newbie. It has happened to me 3 times on other websites already:

1. I tried to post a very interesting article from Lew Rockwell here on FR that I thought many of my fellow Conservatives would like, & it was taken down w/in a few hrs;

2. I have been kicked out of & had my posting privileges revoked at both Crooks & Liars & Mediaite for daring to stand up for Conservative values on a discussion thread; &

3. I have been kicked out of & had my posting privileges revoked at WorldNetDaily (of all places!) for using an anti-Obama avatar that they didn't like -- it was a pic of Obama's face resting on top of a cartoon of a pair of hairy, uhhhhhh, balls, LOL. You may have seen the pic before, it's been on the net for a long time.

That's why I moved over to FR, hoping that maybe (?) I could find a few Constitutional Conservatives who despise Obama as much as I do. But after considering what happened above, I wonder if it will happen to me again. I have already offended a few people here, albeit by accident.

Can a non-citizen be a traitor?

No. Someone with no allegiance to our country cannot be a traitor, since he
has lied about upholding the Constitution and our laws (in his oath of office)
and doing what is best for the American people and America.

No, obambi is The Enemy Within, and not a single patriot in this nation is
willing to tear him down and throw him in Leavenworth forever. Absolutely
everyone is shaking in their booties waiting for someone, anyone, to restore
our Republic.

It's the money. He's floating on a sea of ill-gotten gains.

If true, "command influence" will get him off [how's that for irony?].

This is not the Army I served, nor the country I grew up in .

Any who stayed home in 2012 or voted third party....

You're still placing blame on the wrong target. You're fixated on the notion that all good Americans should have voted for Romney The Crap Sandwich, despite the fact that he would have taken us down the same path, just at a more sedate pace.

It's not the voters' fault that Romney didn't win. It's Romney's fault for being such a lousy representative of our shared values. The man rightfully belongs in the other camp, and millions of conservative voters saw this clearly. THAT's the reason so many left the top line blank in 2012.

The only way to get EVERY Republican voter on the same page, is to run a true blue CONSERVATIVE candidate for president. Low-info R voters will pull the lever for anyone who wins the nomination, but well-informed conservatives require a candidate to meet a minimum bar of excellence to win their vote.

Cry all you want, but that's just how it is. You want a different outcome, then get in there and bust your hump to elect a true conservative.

spare us your steaming pile of Bull $h*t about there being no difference between Obama and Romney.

Sigh...

Mitt Romney’s Dismal Record

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.

* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.

* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.

* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.

"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.

In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

[Cato Institute annual Fiscal Policy Report Card - America's Governors, 2004.]

Romney's "accomplishments".

1. Implemented/created Gay Marriage in MA

2. Supported and forced Gay Adoption in MA

3. Supported Abortion wholeheartedly

4. Raised taxes/fees over 300% while being Governor of MA

5. Implemented a state-level Cap and Trade system.

6. Supported Man-Made Global Warming

7. Supported the Brady Bill

8. Implemented a state level “Assault” Weapons Ban after the Federal AWB was allowed to expire.

9. Supported TARP

There's Mitt's record, in black and white. It's a record that would make any liberal Democrat blush with pride. Given the keys to the White House, he would have gone even further left. That's what the evidence shows.

You Romneybots need to wake up and face reality. The base WILL NOT SUPPORT RINOs. We're going to keep losing elections until the GOP-e allows a real conservative to capture the nomination. That is the way it is, and no amount of bellyaching on your part is going to change it.

You want a Republican in the White House - then get out there and work your tookis off to get a true conservative through the primary battle.

My 82 year old aunt put it a good way: “I hope he goes to Dallas and keeps the top down”.

Your auntie sure has a way with words. Gotta admire that about old folks. Most of 'em tell it like it is.

Puhlease stop trying to absolve those who stood by while the guy who traded 5 Taliban and billions of our hard-earned dollars for a traitor was reelected. It might make you feel better, but it doesn’t change the fact that a pocr@p is in our White House for two more years, undermining our country. To all those who couldn’t vote for Romney, enjoy what you have enabled while the world is destroyed. For you know darn well that a Romney would NEVER be given the license that zero has been given.

You're a fool if you believe a single conservative wanted Obama to have a second term. For myself, I have to self censor my true feelings about the monstrosity on Pennsylvania Avenue, such is the depth of my disgust with that unholy blot on America.

Simultaneously, I'm old enough, and well informed enough to understand WHY the cretin is still residing there, and it's NOT the fault of the decent people of this country. It is entirely the fault of the GOP-e for forcing yet another liberal "Republican" upon us - when what we really needed was a true leader who has the backbone and wisdom to undo all of Obama's damage.

I don't give two shits what you say about Romney. Look at the man's RECORD. It's as left-liberal as any you can find, so don't sit there trying to convince me or anyone else, that he would have done a damn thing to turn this disaster around. He wouldn't have, and we'd now be sitting here tearing our hair out over his continuing failures to right the ship of state.

Get this through your head -- Mitt Romney is NOT what he claims. He never was. He's no more and no less than a Big Government liberal, supported by the elites of the Uniparty. The same party that is tearing this once great country apart, on the orders and whims of one Barack Hussein Obama.

Wake up!

Are you serious? We know that a republican could NEVER have gotten away with what zero has gotten away with, simply because CONSERVATIVES would never allow it. We hold our own to a higher standard. With libs, ideology trumps all, even the rule of law. Whatever. We have two more years to enjoy zero’s reign. By then you will be begging for forgiveness for sitting out the vote.

Oh? George Bush drove up the national debt like crazy, and created the Dept. of Homeland Security. He also signed the much hated Patriot Act. For eight long years, ol' Dubya gave the liberal Democrats everything they wanted. No one our side did a damn thing to 'hold his feet to the fire' while he went Big Government.

Tell me how conservatives have stopped Boehner and McConnell's brazen transgressions against Republican voters since they took over Congress. Just how did conservatives stop them from throwing away the ONLY leverage they had against Obama, right out of the gate?

Or, how about the way the GOP-e used filthy Democrat tactics against Chris McDaniel in last year's Mississippi Senate race? The drooling tool, Thad Cochran, was stopped cold by our guys, wasn't he?

You are totally clueless if you believe the Repukes in Congress wouldn't have green-lighted every stinking bit of Romney's liberal agenda, had he become President.

Like I said before - Wake Up!

Of course the rino’s would have accepted Romney’s rino ways. But an freeroaming rino far less dangerous than an unchecked Marxist who is allowed to do whatever he wants.
