MANILA: Philippine President Benigno Aquino has called on lawmakers to pass a bill endorsing a pact aimed at ending a decades-long Muslim separatist rebellion, warning them they would otherwise start counting “body bags.” Aquino had wanted the bill, which would give autonomy to the majority Catholic nation’s Muslim minority in the south, passed this month. But Congress suspended debates on the proposed law in the face of public outrage over the killings of 44 police commandoes by guerrillas in a botched anti-terror raid in January.
“This is the crossroads we face: we take pains to forge peace today, or we count body bags tomorrow,” Aquino said in a nationwide television address. “Perhaps it is easy for you to push for all-out war,” he said, hitting out at critics who have condemned the peace deal with the MILF. “But if the conflict grows, the number of Filipinos shooting at other Filipinos will grow, and it would not be out of the question that a friend or loved one be one of the people who will end up inside a body bag.” The rebellion for a separate state or self-rule has claimed nearly 120,000 lives and cost billions of dollars in economic losses, according to government estimates. Under a peace deal signed with the MILF, the 10,000-member group pledged to disarm while the Philippine government vowed to pass an autonomy law in Muslim areas of the south. “The Bangsamoro basic law is one of the most important proposed bills of our administration. It answers the two most pressing problems of our countrymen: poverty and violence,” Aquino said.

Give them self rule and you’ll count more body bags.
Giving in to the Muslims is the worst possible thing Aquino can do. The body count will go up, because the Muslims got a taste of Phillipine weakness, and they like it.
They won’t be happy until they have “converted” the whole country. Aquino is being a coward.
This guy is a complete moron. My in-laws are Filipinos and the entire population is PO’d that 44 SF guys were killed by the ragheads and he won’t even seek justice for them. The cruel joke is that he’s angling for a Nobel PP.
All three Aquinos are worthless, from Benigno Sr, Cory to Benigno Jr. Marcos was corrupt, but no more than the Aquinos. And he kept the economy going. Under Marcos’s successors, the Philippines’s output per capita has been overtaken by China.
You can either fill the body bags with radical militant muslims who want to kill you,

You can let the radical militant muslims fill body bags with you and your people.
There is no third option President Aquino, so choose wisely.
Israel has tried this. All it got them was more dead Israelis. This guy ought to get out more often.
The Philippines should start making body bags with little gold crescents on them, put a number on each one of them, and start filling them with everyone who speaks for this murderous death cult.

The Philippine Muslim movement has been around quite a while, and making mischief most of their existence.
There is reason to believe there was connection between the Philippine Muslims and the Timothy McVeigh/Terry Nichols terrorist bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. It was known that Terry Nichols made a number of trips to the Philippines, some in the company of his second wife Marife Torres, a mail-order bride from the Philippines, but also a number of unaccompanied trips to undetermined localities.
So the Oklahoma City terrorist bombing may very well also be the work of Islamic jihadists working through US-born agents. This has never been adequately researched, but it would explain a lot, like the similarity to the first World Trade Center bombing attempt.
Muslim majority rule is a nasty bag of maggots anywhere in the world. And they do not even have to have a real majority of the radical types, just enough to thoroughly intimidate the rest of the populace, Muslim and non-Muslim alike.
After concluding the Munich Pact Chamberlin said of Hitler in private, “I found him to be the most common little swine I’ve ever encountered’’.
Just send the entire Filipino Army in there and fill the body bags, then.
The only way to ensure peace is to get rid of the Muslims.
