There could be a downside, though, when it comes to the elections. Without Reid on the ballot, Democrats can back a nominee who didn’t ramrod Obamacare through the Senate.

Lord o' mercy, National Review. Every silver lining has its cloud, eh?

Some people can find the downside of a blueberry pancake.

It doesn't matter who the RATS pick to replace Reid. They're all Obamatons. Is a RAT actually going to run for office on the premise that he wouldn't've voted for ObolaCare?

The only downside to Reid’s retirement is that Schumer is even smarter, leaving Mitch McConnell at a severe IQ deficit.

Kinda ironic that as many times as I’ve wanted to just slap hell out of him, in the end he did it to himself.

The main downside is we’ll get somebody just as bad, like Chuck Schumer for Minority Leader.

If he makes it to retirement, the downside would be missing out on the satisfaction of his dying in office. The sooner that evil POS goes room temp, the better.

Dirty Harry, the quintessential bastard thug for the democRATS. Take care of that eye Harry, that guy who beat you up is coming for the other. You will only be missed by the corrupt evil that kept you in power. Good riddance and not one second too soon.
