San Francisco mayor bans publicly-funded travel to Indiana

San Francisco prides itself as a tolerant place, but it is closed off to one thing: Indiana.

On Thursday, San Francisco Mayor Edwin Lee, a Democrat, directed all City Departments under his authority to bar publicly funded travel to the Hoosier State.

The decision followed Indiana Republican Gov. Mike Pence’s decision to sign a “religious freedom” bill that critics say effectively sanctions discrimination of LGBT citizens by private businesses.

“We stand united as San Franciscans to condemn Indiana’s new discriminatory law,” Lee said in a statement.

“San Francisco taxpayers will not subsidize legally-sanctioned discrimination against lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people by the State of Indiana.”

Hard for Republicans to frame the narrative when the media which frames it is basically the communications department of the democrat party.

Freedom to choose ("discrimination") is our right and our privilege.

MLK helped give discriminating (freedom to choose) a bad name. But we as individuals have every constitutional right to choose and discriminate however we want.

The only constitutional limitation on choosing or discriminating is prohibition of STATE SEGREGATION laws against blacks (14th Amendment).

There is NO constitutional limitation on individual discrimination AT ALL.

A state can discriminate against gays or anyone else except blacks.

That’s a lame excuse. All Republicans have to do is point out the myriad examples of how homosexuals are picking out business victims so they can scream “discrimination” later.

Does this ban also include the other 19 states that ALREADY have this law?

None of those other States has a conservative Republican Presidential candidate pending. This is a calculated game of uproar. Pence should send Lee a thank-you note for getting him air time as a result.

Imagine what San Francisco would have done if Indiana had ask them not to soil Indiana with any publicly-funded travelers from San Francisco.

This just another proof that liberalism is a mental disorder. The gay fascists don’t realize they are huge hypocrites. They’re saying “We can refuse to do business with you, but you can’t refuse to do business with us.” In the fever swamp that passes for the liberal mind freedom of association is only for them. The only thing evil to a libtard is criticising them. For them anything goes, but you must approve of their lifestyle or face sanctions from the government run by them.

it might have to include the other 56 states because the law was passed by Hillary’s husband in 1993.

In San Francisco, people crap on the sidewalks.
In San Francisco, people pee on the sidewalks.
In San Francisco, old naked homosexuals walk around the sidewalks offering their wares.

Indiana, thousands of miles away passes a law.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeek! Hoist up your skirts girls!
