Scott Walker and Jeb Bush were bound to collide sooner or later. It turned out to be sooner.
As the son of a Baptist minister, and the son of the 41st president of the United States, these two were destined to be the odd couple of the 2016 election. Walker is running against the establishment and the Washington elites. Bush embodies both. Walker will need at least $100 million to compete in the GOP primary, and more if he makes it to the general. Most of the Republican donors who write those kinds of checks are on Bushs speed dial.
Bush could be successful in a general election but he first must survive what is likely to be a brutal primary battle for the GOP nomination. Hell have to convince far-right voters that he is conservative enough, and those are some of the very people who seem so enamored of Walker. Small world.
The collision was over immigration. During a recent trip to New Hampshire, Bush was asked by a reporter if he believed the Wisconsin governor had changed his views on the issue to appeal to the far right.
He changed his views on immigration, Bush said of Walker........
What will the Walkeristasnot to mention assorted members of the Tea Partysay about that? Sounds like Walker himself has a pretty good idea what theyd say, because the same afternoon the Journal posted its piece, a Walker spokeswoman said, We strongly dispute this account.....
Walker and Bush certainly arent the only politicians on the planet who have altered their views on immigration.....
I chose this article because it (and about 1000) other ones being circulated around the web, accuse Walker of being Bush, when Cruz holds the same position on this as Walker. So it was a good place to make that point.
That is simply a crappy journalist inserting his own opinion by mentioning Romney's position.
Senator Cruz DID NOT state that.
Alrighty - are you claiming that Cruz called for forced mass deportations? Because he also didn't say that.
Cruz is my first choice, but he isn't our only hope at the moment and it's nuts to act as if he's the only one that might be worth voting for.
Trolls post about posters without pinging them.
Why don’t you tell us why someone would post an article about Walker and Bush, and then hijack their own thread with the very first opening post, making the thread an attack on Cruz, who isn’t even mentioned in the article?
This is amazing a majority of all Americans support stopping this immigration insanity yet we can’t even find one guy to run who is seriously against it.
This country is screwed.
Why post an article on Walker and Bush that doesn’t even mention Cruz, as a thread to attack Ted Cruz?
Please, tell me Cruz’s position on illegals living in the United States.
How does he plan to address the millions living here if he becomes president?
I don’t post to you because you inevitably resort to personal attacks. I’m here to discuss with people worth talking to like CW, not you.
LOL.
You jumped on the thread to make a personal attack as a stalker carrying a grudge, and so far everyone one of your posts has been a personal attack as a stalker.
You haven’t even mentioned the topics.
Thank you.
Please, tell me Cruzs position on illegals living in the United States.
How does he plan to address the millions living here if he becomes president?
Please tell me why you posted an article on Walker and Bush that doesn’t even mention Cruz, as a thread to attack Ted Cruz?
If you want me and other conservatives to start coming after Walker, then this is sure the way to do it, become an anti-Cruz troll.
So you do want me to start delving into Walker.
I answered you in Post #21.
Why are you avoiding answering a simple question?
I’ll ask again:
Please, tell me Cruzs position on illegals living in the United States.
How does he plan to address the millions living here if he becomes president?
As this thread proves, you have decided that Ted Cruz is the man you want to destroy.
You are creating a Walker versus Cruz battle line.
I didn’t want to go after Walker, but it looks like you are going to force freepers to do that.
Where in the world did you get that from????
Did you just think it would look "good" on this thread?
Your refusal to be honest about my postings or to answer my question, tells me all I need to know.
If I confused your post, I apologize. It wasn’t clear.
....I have no dog in y’all’s fight other than to say Cruz has made it crystal clear what his position on that is. Namely, that situation regarding anywhere from 5 to 30 million illegals, depending on who your listening to, is NOT something that has to be settled NOW.
The only issue NOW, as far as conservatives are concerned, is securing the border as close to TOTAL as is humanly possible.
The Left, clearly is opposed to Total Security because that is their leverage to get full and complete amnesty. That of course gets the Democrats more low information voters.
You posting an article about Walker to create an attack thread on Cruz, tells me everything that I need to know.
You see destroying the conservative Texas Senator, as clearing the path for Wisconsin”s Walker.
Last time, your big deal was Perry, and you were just as ugly in your methods of supporting him.
