Cruz has been taking some heat — pun intended — lately over his global warming comments. While the recent focus has been on his interview on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Cruz made similar comments in the past, as shown in the CNN interview in February 2014.

When a liberal “fact checks” he compares any assertion (truth) against the shared group consensus (false narrative) and cries fowl to protect the group from considering alternative viewpoints. The louder the cries, the more accurate the counter viewpoint.
Ted Cruz is causing the kind of noise found only at a ‘70s Ted Nugent concert.

The quote is not correct. I just heard him on Rush and I watched it from CNN. He did not say zero. He did a great job. But these same yapper yippers sound the same alarm regardless of the truth. Distort, lie and spread.

Man-caused global warming is a hoax. Temperatures today aren’t as warm as during the Roman Warm period or during the Medieval Warm period. The hoaxers have been exposed repeatedly and only the most gullible still believe the scam.
That doesn't matter. Pay up and give up-Let the government control you so they can control the weather.
Even if you accept the “fact” that temps went up, prove the “fact” that it was caused by human activity.
The climate has been changing for as long as there has been climate.

If the warming has not paused, why are there so many AGW scientists proposing theories as to why it paused ? That is why you can never win a debate against a progressive. As Reagan said, they must be transcended. They will deny something and then explain why that something exists.
Most of their adjustments actually raise the recent temperatures and lower past temperatures. Because they have weird protocols about how the sensitivity of the instrument changed over time. The time of day the reading was taken. Etc. Etc. Basically progressive scientist are just like progressives. You cannot trust anything they say or do.

Sorry to hear your problem, but the logic behind it, carried to the logical conclusion would be, so my solution is to screw the rest of you, and if you think you are tired of getting screwed, the rest of us are tired of getting screwed by folks just unwilling to vote, regardless of the party affiliation or more to the point precisely because of the party.

I never said I wouldn't be voting. I won't be voting GOP (Cruz will be the only GOP candidate to get my vote), but I never said I wouldn't vote. If you're dumb enough to keep voting GOP after the thrashing they've given us Conservatives over the last 5 years, well, then you're part of the problem.

The satellite data (blue squares), indeed shows no no warming over the past 16 years, just as Cruz said.
He might be wrong. I thought it was 18 years now.
And what a blizzard it was. Lots of people died. I lived in Chicago at the time, my dad passed away in Florida, started out driving just as the storm began, drove to Nashville but I-24 was shut down, tried I-65 to Birmingham but State police had it blocked, drove SW to Memphis, down the Mississippi, along the Gulf, looking at the snowmen in front yards in the Florida panhandle, and finally, after 36 nonstop hours (except for pee and gas breaks) made it to Orlando just in time for the funeral. My daughter on a school trip to DC was stuck in Pennsylvania for 3 days.
So "22 years" likely a very-cherry picked date.
