During a joint press conference at the White House with the President of Afghanistan that was intended to demonstrate the close cooperation between the two nations, President Barack Obama accidentally called his counterpart by the wrong name.

1) He called him by the name "Karzai", his predecessor. I would give him a pass on that EXCEPT for:
2) When he said "Karzai", he knew it was wrong (Note the long pause).He then could not remember the new guys name, so he IGNORED his mistake (as will the media).
