Kristen Moore of the Michigan Chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America wanted to continue the conversation by exploring the role that firearms play in violence against women.
According to Moore, the presence of a gun in domestic violence situations increase the risk of homicide of women by 500%.

RIGHT! Because the ONLY weapon used against women, is a GUN!
Besides, women cannot use a firearm against a stronger and younger male. It's UNPOSSIBLE!
“Moms Demand” is exactly that ... a demand.
Moms are demanding that you do X, or else. Or else what?
Are there actually any real “moms” in this organization?
John Lott says that if you read the study that they cite, that the actual numbers show that women who live by themselves and have guns are less likely to be attacked than those who do not have guns.
I have tried to find the actual “study” which was done by the heavily partisan Mayors Against Illegal Guns, funded by Mayor Bloomberg. It is not easy to come by. If anyone has access to it, please let me know.
