> Whoopie has gone birther. She doesnt realize that Cruzs birth certificate has been online since 2013. :)
Let them make complete fools of themselves. Everyone wanted to know about Obama’s birth certificate but he wouldn’t produce it for several years. Then when he does its only an online version that’s quickly proved to be a fake consisting of several layers. Some time later the very woman who produced the certificate of live birth (not a bc itself) is flying in a small aircraft with 9 people onboard near an island and it crashes. Of the 9 she is the only one that died. Different witnesses in the plane crash give different versions of what she was doing at the time of the crash.
And there are so so many more similar type coincidences involving people linked to Obama who died under mysterious circumstances. All had issues with him or knew some of his history that he would rather not have known.
At this point, what difference does it make? sarc/
The Fair and Relevant Question: After 8 Years of Obama, Why Should GOP Nominate a One-Term Senator?Nice try Erik.
What does Obama's one term as Senator have to do with anything he does?...Name one.
I guess Obama would have made a better conservative if he just had more time to ripen.
The problem with Obama has nothing to do with how long he was in the Senate and has everything to do with hatred for this country and an agenda to destroy it.
I don’t think we have to worry about either with Ted Cruz.
In my observation, Walker is a good and competent manager, while Cruz is a bona fide leader of men.
To use a military analogy, I see Walker as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, and Cruz as Supreme Allied Commander. One is the nuts and bolts guy, while the other stirs mens' hearts to rise and follow him into battle.
In my opinion, we need someone to stir our hearts and lead us into battle at this time.
Well said!
Cruz actually demonstrates all the necessary attributes to be a superior President no matter his current position. It would be great to have a real patriot and lover of Jesus in the WH - with all the extras that Cruz brings to the table.
You haven't missed much. He is basically a run of the mill mouthy blogger. Heard him subbing for Rush one day recently. Definitely a bench-warmer.
LOL!!!
Whoops!
And Yes, Erick Erickson is the Bench that the Bench Warmers sit on.
Totally agree!!!!
You want to win this fight you need someone one with passion and guys and Cruz has it. When are the “conservative media” going to realize that the enemy isn't Ted Cruz?
Please. If you are going to resort to such unreasonable lengths just to be critical, then note that your point was made (by a much more reasonable participant) and also answered dozens of comments ago.
Thanks for your replies.
I listened to Cruz’ entire ‘announcement’ speech just now, and I was again impressed.
I think the best president we’ve had in my lifetime was Ronald Reagan. He could also ‘stir men’s hearts to rise and follow him into battle’ at a time when it was essential.
The pendulum swings routinely; and Cruz was correct when he spoke of God always watching over our country at the times when we most needed His help.

The pendulum swings routinely....
I agree with that. In my mind, the pendulum has now swung to offer America another great leader who has the potential to guide this country back to sanity and security.
Let us hope the people are wise enough to see this, and are hungry enough for true leadership, to give him their overwhelming support.
One of the things I loved about Reagan, was how comfortable he was in his own skin. That is something that comes with age, deeply held and thought-out beliefs, and a very diversified experience.
And, it’s the thing that has always bothered me about our current President. He never seems comfortable - he seems to be always thinking about ‘how should a president walk’, or ‘how should a president descend from an airplane’...he has never seemed to know exactly who he IS enough to simply be Comfortable!
That signals to me that he is more concerned with his image, than with weighty matters of State ;-)
I want a President who actually cares about my Country, from a standpoint of really understanding it, its founding, and its Constitution.
I don’t need an Ideological president; I want an Idealistic one.

In the case of Ted Cruz, because he’s a fighter.
.
Only Cruz, of the present field, is sufficiently competent, and grounded in conservative values, to run for president.
I don’t dislike Rand Paul, but he is too tied to libertarian ideals for the top job, and Rubio is not in any way qualified; he is a rubber stamp for the GOPe.

Yep!

Obama’s a midget compared to Trig Palen.
