There is a HUGE disconnect between libs and conservatives. Not just politically, but religously as well. Here's another recent
article outlining the differences between Christianity and libertariansim.

Here's another recent article outlining the differences between Christianity and libertariansim. That simply makes no sense, given that the Founder of Christianity made a clear distinction between Caesar's realm and God's realm, and the two are on opposite sides of that divide.

There is a HUGE disconnect between libs and conservatives. Not just politically, but religously as well. That just about nails it. This really isn't a political issue. There is a segment of FR that can't or won't get past the religious angle. IMO is poisons the debate.
I consider myself a libertarian. I'm also very anti abortion, want the borders sealed and illegals thrown back to their countries of origin. I'd like to see the size of government cut in half. I'm pro 2A, etc. My candidate of choice is Ted Cruz. But I don't care how Mr. Cruz spends his Sunday mornings. And I don't know why other FReepers care how I spend mine.
