Gordon, GA A citizens group in an East Georgia town that wants the removal of their mayor has posted a video showing a confrontation between the mayor and a police officer making a DUI arrest.
The group Concerned Citizens of Gordon, Ga. posted the video on their Facebook page, showing the exchange between Gordon Mayor Mary Ann Whipple-Lue and the officer.
The group says they obtained the video recorded on Monday night, March 16, by a body camera on the officer through an Open Records request.
The arrest took place in front of the mayors property. Read more at http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=6e6_1427069459#FZedOfDfuSRfk5d3.99

If that witch is married I feel sorry for the husband.
Oh it’s that same-old, same-old sense of entitlement.
Keep in mined this this story comes to you from the land of Honey-Boo-Boo.
I naively thought this was a hilarious story until it occurred to me to wonder if the main actor is Amish...
No, I chose not to go to the link.
Amish entitlement again?
I can just imagine what the city council meetings must sound like.
Looks too rural to be a city.
Why cant the witch just mount her broom and fly around?
Or the [cough] wife... hey ya never know.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.
[cough]
“City” in GA could be a hamlet of 500 people. We don’t have anything smaller than a county, than a city.
Apparently it’s a black policeman trying to do his job fighting with an entitled black mayor. It’s heartening that the policeman is trying to do his job in an appropriate manner.
Bump...yer right :)
She be uppity.
This happened 4-14-2014 GORDON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) - Multiple people were kicked out, and the mayor adjourned Monday’s city council meeting early.
Council met with several big issues up for discussion, including an update on the city’s insurance situation and moving forward with paying the man who conducted the city’s financial audit.
However, about 30 minutes into the meeting, audience members started speaking out against Mayor Mary Whipple-Lue, something that’s become common in recent meetings.
The mayor started throwing people out. That’s when two ladies in the audience got into a verbal argument after one claimed the other was filming her.
I kinda wish we (FReepers) would lay off the Amish references when we mean Black. It was funny for a while; now, not so much.
But then again, we can't say "Black" any more. Starbucks has declared that the description "black" is no longer correct.
The correct term is "de-creamed".
I did a quick check on wikipedia. It looks like Gordon is a town of about 2,000 people covering 6 square miles. It’s located in Wilkinson County, which has just over 10,000 people total.
The last thing we need is a video, pointing up, at her on a broom.
What colors are the keys on my piano?
What color are the tires on my car?
What color are ....and I could go on and on.
Black people are NOT black.....they are different shades of brown but they are not black, so leave my black colors the hell alone.
