I just got this from a friend. His brother works at the New Orleans Airport.

I swear that when I was flying last week I saw a couple with firearms. Perhaps they were “police”. Looked like TSA.

Probably the LEO’s that are in the airport for whatever jurisdiction.

As far as I know, you can carry in (nearly) any airport up to but not beyond the security checkpoint. Beyond that point it’s considered the “sterile area”.
