Mark Steyn, columnist and author of “The Undocumented Mark Steyn,” argued that “everybody” in the Middle East “despises” President Obama on Thursday’s “Hugh Hewitt Show.”
“Everybody in that region despises this president. And I don’t use that word lightly, I mean it. Rubio touched on some of the phone calls that Obama placed to that Muslim Brotherhood guy and all the rest of it. General Sisi, whose taken over in Egypt, despises this president. The House of Saud despised this president. King Abdullah in Jordan despises this president. What remains of the Libyan government despises — that had to flee, that had to flee the capital, despises this president. And now, the very last remaining little sliver of turf in the region, Obama is doing his best to ensure total regional contempt from Morocco, all the way over to Pakistan, absolute contempt for this president” he said.

The culture there hates weekness and even more hate people that bad mouth their tribes. Obama has whined and complained about the USA to the middle east since his first days on the political stage.

What you are reading is not something Mark Steyn wrote. It is what he said in an interview. If you have ever heard him speak off the cuff, you can recognize the style. I’ll cut him some slack for it not sounding like he spent hours finding just the right words.
And perhaps “Whose” was the transcriptionist missing “who has.” Or maybe not.
