RENO, Nev. -- Hundreds of LGBT supporters marched through downtown Reno Saturday afternoon for northern Nevada's Pride Parade, where for one nine-year-old, it was a place to express who she really is.
"I really like sleepovers and make up parties and tea parties," Cee Cee Ott, 9, said.
It wasn't always like that for Ott. Cee Cee was born Conrad.
"We didn't see the transgender come out until she was about three. It didn't really start hitting that she wanted to wear her sister's clothes, she wanted to wear wigs," said Shanna Ott, her parent.
It became a struggle for Cee Cee to wake up every day as someone she knew she wasn't.

A nine year old is in no way equipped to decide what it’s going to have for dinner, much less this. People really need to get a grip.
Munchausen by Proxy is criminal abuse, no?
http://kidshealth.org/parent/general/sick/munchausen.html
Munchausen by proxy syndrome (MBPS) is a relatively rare form of child abuse that involves the exaggeration or fabrication of illnesses or symptoms by a primary caretaker.
Also known as “medical child abuse,” MBPS was named after Baron von Munchausen, an 18th-century German dignitary known for making up stories about his travels and experiences in order to get attention. “By proxy” indicates that a parent or other adult is fabricating or exaggerating symptoms in a child, not in himself or herself.
Munchausen by proxy syndrome is a mental illness and requires treatment.
That cushion is getting a workout.
Yuck... was the mother exposed to radiation from old nuclear test sites?
The whole family is probably genetically damaged.
Because they typically keep other men out of the females' locker rooms.
Geez the mother and her son together— the mom has got a mini-me going on here. Poor kid....,...
Two moms... is it any surprise that the kid has probably been indoctrinated to hate the idea of being male?
Dysfunction are us, LOL!
I have white skin but from now on I am going to identify as black. Can get I get affirmative action set-asides?
Got the poor kid in a flounced skirt. (I have daughters, I know this stuff.)
Now, you know that if it really were a girl, that mom would make her wear pants instead of a skirt.
Oh.
I see.
One is left to wonder which sex ANY of these deranges souls really are.
Yes, that has always been a psychological phenomenon. It’s also not uncommon for boys who are treated that way to end up very psychologically disturbed, even to the point of becoming psychopaths or serial killers.
“What will happen to this poor kid?”
Sadly, suicide is a big possibility in the kid’s future.
They’re wearing skinny, rectangular glasses.
YUP...
moms got...perceptual....emotional mental issues.
wheres CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES???
It’s easier to chop something off than it is to build a new appliance from scratch?
BULL. The parents are foisting this crap on this poor child. It is the quickest way to fame and fortune for the parents. The poor kid will have a sad and miserable life. At first he will be coddled and surrounded by adoring gaystapo shock troops but once the novelty wears off he will be left a hollow empty lonely sad shell of a young man. I hate seeing this crap. The kids have no choice in it.
Bingo!
I would say she is criminally negligent. Anyone that allows their child to continue destructive behavior and doesn’t try to correct it but enables that behavior should be charged.
This poor boy will suffer greatly because his mom was such a dumbass liberal.
Really though, I think the reason they are almost all males is because of the psychology. Before the PC crowd took over, it was pretty universally understood that “trannies” were simply repressed homosexuals. They could not integrate the idea that they were homosexuals into their psyche, so they invent the idea that they are really female, to explain their attraction to the male sex.
I think the fact that there is somewhat less stigma attached to being a lesbian, versus being a male homo, explains why not many of them end up with this condition.
