President Obama, whose party was trounced in last year’s midterm election due to poor turnout among Democrats, endorsed the idea of mandatory voting Wednesday.
“It would be transformative if everybody voted,” Mr. Obama said during a town-hall event in Cleveland. “That would counteract [campaign] money more than anything. If everybody voted, then it would completely change the political map in this country.”
Mr. Obama raised the subject during a discussion of curbing the influence of campaign donations in U.S. elections. The president said he had never discussed the idea publicly before, but said Australia and some other countries have compulsory voting.

100% voter turn out...Even the illegals voted and are now good productive citizens. Think how great all this will appear.
For Americans, do your duty and vote, regardless of you support anyone running. It’s the law.
For our news citizens, think of all the free stuff you’ll continue to receive if you vote for the guy who promises you the most gifts.
It’s a win win for all.

mandatory voting is why Brazil continues to be a poor country that never improves and has massive corruption. The stupid, the unemployable, the drug ridden, the lazy, the illiterate vote for communists and continue to live their lives in favelas that Americans have no understanding of.
The ones of are educated, striving, trying to make a better life get out-voted in each election.
And if you like who you voted for, you can keep that vote.
This is silly. If you make somebody vote who didn’t want to show up, he’s just going to get ticked off and write in Mickey Mouse.
Why is Ø even suggesting such a thing? Just recently he assured non-voters that he represents their views!
Perhaps it includes many of the un-living, but it certainly does not include even one of the millions of un-born.

He could confiscate all money (bank accounts, retirement funds/other stock/money) these jailed conservatives have. That would be the IRS penalty for not voting - taking everything you have. Basically, a police state at that point.
If I recall, they have that sort of voting system in place in North Korea. It will work about the same way, too.
If Obama wants it the left has figured out a dozen ways to rig it.

Step 1. Clean up the voter rolls.
Step 2. Any member of a government union, whether federal, state, city or municipal is ineligible to vote.
Step 3. Repeat step 1.
What will happen is this country would move so far to the right it will make Obama’s head spin.
It really doesn't matter to our leaders who comes into this country....people are now used on an international and national scale simply as 'a commodity'..... to move around and or out and in whatever and where ever it stands to be the most productive for the Elites and their Globalist Agenda to transform the world game board to their advantage.
