The White House said Wednesday it still believes a two-state solution is the best way to find peace in the Middle East, after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ruled out the creation of a Palestinian state.
This comes after a comment by the White House, saying it will evaluate its approach to Mideast peace process.
President Barack Obama believes a two-state solution is "the best way to resolve the situation," according to White House spokesman Josh Earnest, who added that Obama had not yet called to congratulate Netanyahu on his election victory.
The White House also said it was "deeply concerned" by divisive rhetoric in Israeli election, and intended to communicate that deep concern directly to the Israelis.
The ironic thing is that Obama may be the biggest reason why Netanyahu prevailed. If Obama had taken a low key approach to Netanyahu’s speech before congress, and just let him speak and go home, there would have been considerably less media coverage of the speech. Instead, Obama threw a colossal hissy fit, causing a media frenzy. Add to that Obama’s well documented interference in the election by sending political operatives and funneling money to help the opposition. As a result, the people of Israel resented this outside ineterference, Netanyahu’s base was energized, and the focus of the election shifted from the economy to Israel’s national security. Maybe Benjamin Netanyahu should send Obama a “Thank You” card.
Under the current posture of the citizens of what would be a Palestinian state, if you support a two-state solution, you are by definition supporting the destruction of the State of Israel. In no uncertain terms, there has been absolutely no commitment from Palestinian territory political leaders/citizens to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist.
On top of that, Obama has removed Hamas (and Iran) from our terrorist list. What is next for Obama? Arming Hamas in the Palestinian territory? When is this evil clown going to be removed from office to a firing squad for serial acts of treason?
There already is a two state solution.
Israel and Jordan.

I'm getting tired of stating the obvious... By mutual consent, Hussein does NOT represent the United States Citizenry.
And the U.S. Citizenry may support Hussein, reluctantly, but does not agree with, endorse or otherwise support in any way imposing a two state solution in the struggle between the Civilized Man and the Barbarian.
Or anything else he does or says outside of a golf course.
The difference between a Palestinian "Territory" and a Palestinian State is zero. Trying to invent a difference, even if only by implication, is a fool's errand.
Palestine became a terrorist entity even before it was invented, in 1964.
That's long enough to stop wondering about the whole thing.

Zero and his cadre spent millions (and probably broke laws in both the US and Israel), joining forces with the Islamofascists, socialist, atheist, and other Israel-hating orgs in their attempt to put the Lyin-est Union into power, and managed to shift one seat to Labor, create a rift in the leftist parties, squash one of them, knock a few smaller parties over the threshold and out of the Knesset, and strengthen Bibi’s hand.
So, when he and his cadre are finally put on trial and imprisoned, it will all have been for nothing.
That is what I told the office losers who think Israel should give up land. I tell them let Saudi or some other give it up. They have plenty.
