An 18-year-old neighbor was taken into custody following a stabbing that killed three young brothers at a North Carolina home Tuesday night. Two other family members were injured.
The incident was reported around 10:30 p.m. at a home in New Bern, WITN reported. The victims' names haven't been released, though New Bern police said the dead victims were brothers ages 12, 5 and 1.
The surviving victims, a sister and a mother, were released from the hospital. Two brothers were found dead at the scene, while the third later died at the hospital.
Eh Lar Doh Htoo, an 18-year-old neighbor, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. He was held in jail under a $1 million secured bond.
Police are still trying to determine a motive but said a machete-style knife was used in the incident. The children's father was at work when the stabbing happened, police said.
The suspect is of Burmese descent and may be from Thailand, police said.
More charges are pending, police said.
Thailand?
Apparently the victims were Thai/Burmese, too - so it sounds like there's an enclave of 'em in NC.
“Get rid of the Negro Police force that wont go after Negro Criminals.”
Are you on the right thread?
Are you even on the correct website?
Those are the animals that killed the 90 year old white lady. Did they rape her first or after?
New Bern is near military bases. May have been translators?
Thank God the victims didn’t have access to a firearm! Someone could have gotten hurt.
More likely family or extended family of military members.
Military installations are very multicultural in general.
All of the victims were Burmese, New Bern Police Lt. Ronda Allen said, and a
language barrier has complicated the investigation.

Guess the same moron who gave the 9/11 terrorists visas gave this monster his, too.
The Burmese population in New Bern has little or nothing to do with the local military bases. From the story, New Bern is home to about 1,900 Burmese refugees. Susan Husson, executive director of the Interfaith Refugee Ministry in New Bern, said the victims’ family and the suspect’s family likely came through her office before settling in New Bern, but she didn’t know them personally. She said the first Burmese refugee came to New Bern around 1999.
I don’t know if fed money underwrites this effort or not, but I am fairly sure the local Episcopal church is involved with other churches in supporting this group of immigrants.
From Bhutan I think.
The refugee industry. They just dump these people on us.
What does that have to do with a murder in North Carolina by a Burmese man?
We have one that is ignored much of the time. It is called the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.
That was a response to an earlier post.
Exactly.
