Do you agree with the bill that would allow anyone with a concealed weapon permit to carry a gun on Florida public university campuses?

Yes(44%) No(40%) Not sure(16%)
No because they would all be liberals...; )
Dynachrome is unable to post right now. I'm subbing for this one time. So--
FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you
want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-
Freeping Freepers Ping list. (multiple votes using
multiple internetz devices are allowed!) And be sure to
ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them.
(looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909,
founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost
signs up for the list) I'll be handling the ping list for a few days while Dynachrome sojourns for a while.
Still 44% five minutes later. Call the Freep squad!
I voted.
* also posting from my iPhone for the first time so this may be a little, um, uh, different...
Just voted and it’s still 44%. Surely those conducting the poll wouldn’t be manipulating the numbers! Always a bit suspicious when the number of people voting isn’t shown.
FReeped!
Still no change in the poll.
No, silly! They're going to be vets going to school on the G.I. Bill and able to stop another Virginia Tech whacko who decides to make a Florida campus their own personal statement of lunacy. They're going to be FReepers, like me! They're not going to be hoplophobic liberals. Those you'll be able to recognize rather easily: When the shooting starts, they'll be sitting somewhere safe, in a corner, on the floor crying and sucking their thumbs and moaning around their thumbs about the evil of guns in general, even as somebody with a PERMIT saves their worthless A$$e$! But to get to that point... we need that permit in place! Right?
Why should you need a permit to exercise a Constitutional right?
Thanks for FReeping
I’ve never understood the fascination such a large percentage of respondents have for the “I don’t know” or “Undecided” button.
Like moths to a flame I guess.
if this bill ever goes through, and I hope it does- the freakin NRA had better keep announcing how many crimes are STOPPED because of armed citizens, and compare it to how people were victimized because they didn’t have guns
Because the first time an innocent person gets shot, all hell is going to break loose with the MSM- but if the NRA can convince the public that FAR more good has been accomplished, far more lives saved, then the bill might have a chance of surviving- BUT the public NEEDS to be kept informed- constantly because they have a very short memory

Good freeping, gang!
Thanks, AZ! (back to bikini inspecting, someone’s gotta do it.)
Have fun.
I’ll expect an after action report with plenty of photographic documentation upon your return.
;-)
But I digress, people like this get on a crowded elevator and they get off on whatever floor the bulk of the crowd gets off, whether or not they have business there themselves. I'm not quite sure of the motivations to act in this foolish manner, however. I suspect that it has to do with a fear of standing alone on a specific principle especially where it might run contrary to any popularly held viewpoint. So they have to meld into the landscape. Just my .02. But they are contemptible.
I have far more respect for the hard corps left winger who wants to take down our society for communism and is hard at work doing so. They may be the enemy of everything I believe in and I may have to engage them, at some point, in mortal combat. But they at least stand for something and are willing to let it all hang out there to succeed.
