Going in to todays balloting, Benjamin Netanyahu was Israels Prime Minister and, if the exit polls on Israels main television stations prove accurate, he will not be looking for a new job any time soon.
After months of trailing the Zionist Union party at the polls, Netanyahus Likud pulled off a stunning come-from-behind victory.
Despite the disgraceful way in which Israels left-wing media went after the premier and his family in a thinly-veiled attempt to topple him, Netanyahu emerged on top, with the Likud tying or edging out the Zionist Union in all three television exit polls.
Quite simply, Netanyahu is the comeback kid of Israeli politics, the man who has managed to defy the critics, the media, various American Jewish millionaires and the administration in Washington, all of whom sought to bring him down.

Right now everyone is going from the Exit Polling, but from what I’ve read in a few places, Israel will release the final results on Wednesday, Israeli time ... :-) ...

Netanyahu declares victory in election; Herzog says Likud celebration is premature [Israel]
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3268919/posts
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared victory after the first exit polls released following Tuesday’s elections showed the Likud ahead of, or tied with, the Zionist Union.
Netanyahu wrote on his Facebook page: “Against all odds, a great victory for the Likud, for the nationalist camp led by the Likud, and for the people of Israel.”
The numbers for Netanyahu’s Likud were better than expected after pre-election polls had showed him trailing Isaac Herzog’s Zionist Union by as much as five mandates.
The Zionist Union rejected conjecture that the results of the exit polls show that Netanyahu will form the next coalition.
“The Likud continues to err. The right-wing bloc has gotten smaller. Everything is open until the final results are in and we will know which parties passed the electoral threshold and what kind of government we can form. All of the spin and the commentary is too early. We have formed a negotiating team with the goal of putting together a coalition led by Herzog.”
Good. I was hesitant to comment on the election, but I’m glad Obama got kicked in the shins again.
And another epic failure for Obama and his Islamist thugs.
I don’t think it was a come-back anything. I think it was 0’s Alinkskytes lying and propagating it as though it were the truth like the liars they aways are. He probably never was behind...but if it made him pick up the pace and try harder thats a good thing...backfired on ‘em. Just hope that the voting machine manufactuer isnt owned by Soros....
I hope they came out in droves just to give Obama a bloody nose
Yeaaaaahhh!
Good for Him, now come out and slam our marxist, muslim, petulant, man-child of a president we have. I loved it last time!
BIBI, BIBI, BIBI, BIBI!
Right. There has to be some Chicago votes in there someplace.
Praise the Lord !!!
God bless America and God bless Israel !!!
I would argue that his attempted interference in the election and disgraceful treatment of Bibi's trip to America and speech backfired and in the end helped Bibi.
BIBI SAYS FUBO!
and then who will accuse who of voter fraud if Net wins?
