Apartheid? Meet the Arab in Charge of Israels Elections
http://www.israeltoday.co.il/NewsItem/tabid/178/nid/26256/Default.aspx
We’ll see if the Joint Arab List gets substantially more than the 11 seats they got last time. If they do it could be trouble for Bibi.
Mark
Yup, Israel has laws on the books prohibiting foreign funding but they haven’t been enforced in the past when Bill Clinton interfered, and they aren’t being enforced this time either!
But from what I’ve read, the amount of foreign money and operatives working to aid the left in this election is unprecedented.
Because of all the “transparency” [/s]
Americans will never find out how much
US taxpayer money was sent by corrupt Obola
to Arabs and impostors in Israel
to vote against Netanyahu?
They will get more. 14-15 is realistic.
Actually, it means trouble for Buzi for you have a radical anti-Israel party that is not a suitable coalition partner.
If Meretz is shut out and centrist parties fall short, he would have to turn to Netanyahu to form a grand coalition government.
I predict that is in the cards regardless of who finishes first tonight.
Honestly, seeing that makes me angry.
I appreciate the link. It just confirms what we’ve been saying.
No good S... .. ....... ... .. ........ .. ....
I feel good about Bibi’s chances but the stakes are so high.
If BHO succeeds in installing Herzog, at the very same moment he is paving the way for Iranian nukes, the consequences for the world will be horrific.
5:25 p.m. Likud MK Ze’ev Elkin’s grandfather, Arkadi Verchovsky, died at age 90 at his polling place in Neve Ya’akov, immediately after voting.
Iran says agreement reached on 90% of technical issues in nuclear talks
Yeah,,..because the Labour party under Atlee promised free health care for the returning soldiers and their families,,,then promptly nationalized coal, electricity, and railways
I think that very well may happen.
I think that very well may happen.
Unless there are real surprises, the only bloc shifts in the Knesset will be because of the switch from two seats to four seats to get representation. Netanyahu will again have to decide if he wants to make common cause with the Left like he did after the last election.
Kulanu/Kahlon might be the decisive broker.
Unbelievable that Israeli’s would even consider such a candidate considering they’re literally on the brink of war.
God’s in control anyways, but this is insanity!
And just like Dems are busing blacks & minorities to vote for them once or twice....looks like leftist Hellenized Jews are doing the same with Arabs.

Election Committee bars PMs press conference
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calls a press conference for 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, just four hours before polls close on Election Day.
But the Yesh Atid and Zionist Union parties appeal to Supreme Court Justice Salim Joubran, who heads the Central Election Committee, to forbid the press conference.
Campaigning is forbidden on Election Day itself, and Joubran rules that a live press conference would constitute a campaign ad by default.
Likud has until 6:30 p.m. to appeal Joubrans decision.
Jourban who issued this decision is Arab.
Will be interesting to see if this ruling gets appealed and overturned or not.
I assume Bibi wants in a press conference to issue the same message over V15 buses for Arabs as he’s been discussing earlier in the day and to rally his supporters in the final hours.
Jourban also banned musical performances at the major right wing rally 2 days ago, even though musical performances were used in prior rallies during the campaign.
5:59: 51 criminal cases have been opened thus far Tuesday for people impersonating others at voting booths, theft of vote slips, or for threatening staffers.
