Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told skeptical voters Friday that he would not soften his views on immigration or education to win their backing.
On his opening foray into New Hampshire for his likely campaign for the Republican presidential nomination, Bush challenged voters here to spend time learning about the issues and avoid shrill partisan sniping. He said facts dont matter to some of his critics and told his first political audience in the state in 15 years that true leaders do not shrink from their beliefs for political expediency.
Bush, the brother of one president and the son of another, arrived in New Hampshire aware of his challenges in winning over conservative voters who see him as too moderate.

Is he confused? This is Red Hampshire...not a lot of conservatives around here.
He then promptly changed his mind once people booed him.
That’s a marvelous strategy, Jeb; grade-A GOPe - guaranteed to lose the general election!
By his very name and history what he’s doing is un-American and despicable.
George Washington intentionally left no heir so that the United States could exist without a hereditary monarch.
And now we have the smiley faced monarch running around the country saying “I’m from the Royal Family! It’s my birthright!”
How arrogant. Who cares what he “believes”, he should recuse himself on first principles.
I’m not changing my views either.
Works for me. I wouldn’t have believed him even if he did.
Good, hope you don’t win votes, Jebster.
Jeb has only compassion for illegal aliens. He has none for patriotic Americans. Or Terri Schiavo. He sounds like a fanatic.
Today?
Well aint that a coinkydink,,, I wont change my mind and vote for someone that won’t do what I say.
FUJB.
If Bush has to spell out how he’s a man of integrity, probably not a solid foundation there.
In fiction writing, the number #1 rule is, show, don’t tell.
Governor Bush is telling while Governor Walker is showing, .
What is being left unsaid is that when you hold your nose and vote for him in Nov. 2016 you will be endorsing amnesty.
They are trying to get us to give up the rule of law and our country. They want you to vote for that, thereby approving it.
We must stop voting for cheap labor importers.
Only vote for candidates who will uphold the rule of law and are clearly on the side of the citizens.
Translation: "My nomination in 2016's already sewn up by the GOPe powers-that-be, so why the heck do I need to bother seeking your votes?"
Only if by "moderate" you mean liberal.
Buh bye liberal amnesty Booshie.
“Im not changing my views either.”
Exactly! I’m not changing MY views, and my views are 180 out from Jeb-E, the big GOP-E money donor butt boy!
My wife was an immigrant. 2 of my 3 kids are naturalized citizens - citizens who went thru all the loops (after adoption) to become US citizens. Heck, my DIL is an immigrant too - a LEGAL immigrant to the USA. And oddly enough, my brown skinned LEGAL immigrant family has no fondness for ILLEGAL immigration.
Jeb “I Want Cheap Labor” Bush can keep HIS views and I’ll keep (and vote) mine. There is a reason I voted for the Democrat instead of John McCain for Senator. I refused to vote for Matha McSally, and her recent votes are proving me correct. And yeah, I’ll sit out an election if Jeb the Pandering Pussy gets the GOP nod!
So he's sticking to his story that his brother's "No Child Left Behind" program was/is a colossal, dismal, embarrassing failure?
Good on him.
One question though, Jeb; how can we be sure Commie Core won't also be a colossal, dismal, embarrassing failure?
“..see him as too moderate” Hardly, see his as liberal is more correct.
