A change in policy issued by the Army Friday evening will make it harder to dismiss transgender soldiers, according to advocate groups.
Various media outlets reported on the new directive.
“The Army issued a directive Friday that protects transgender soldiers from being dismissed by mid-level officers by requiring the decision for discharge to be made by the service’s top civilian for personnel matters,” reported USA Today. “The Army’s new policy is the latest indication that the military’s ban on transgender troops may be eased or even lifted.”
USA Today was the first news outlet to report the possibility of a change in the way the Army handles the dismissal of transgender troops.
“In essence, the announcement [on Friday] places a moratorium on dismissals by requiring officers to explain their decision to discharge a transgender soldier to a high-ranking civilian leader, a move many would view as potentially damaging to their careers,” explained USA Today. “The Pentagon took the same tack when it backed away from its Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell policy that banned gay and lesbian troops. It required a review of decisions to discharge gay troops by the department’s top lawyer and service secretaries, and no further dismissals occurred.”
The Army downplayed the recent change.
According to the service branch, the new directive does not change the policy toward transgender people, who are barred from serving in the military....

Notice that control of the military is being transferred to political correctness commissars. This is no different than the “the political officers” that were assigned to military units in the Soviet Union, and essentially were both spies on the loyalty of the unit and to whom the commander was accountable.
There is no such thing as a transgender person. It’s nonsense. I can claim I really think I was born a cheetah, but it isn’t going to make me run any faster. You are what you are born. The real objective is to deny God as the creator.
How did we get to this point? How can rational people pretend this is real? I feel as if I’m living in the bizarro world from Superman comics.
Honestly I never thought this would even be an issue in our services. I retired in 2011 after 24 years. I never came across such a situation. How on Earth did we suddenly become Transsexual America the last few months. It seems it is everywhere now. I find it so unbelievable that if 2 percent of the country is gay then .0000002 percent must be transexual. We need to stop this now or who knows what is left. Is it possible to run out of dirtiness?

The time for believing anything any politician says on any subject is long over. The great majority of their number have proven themselves unfaithful cowards and sociopaths. It’s time to take our Second Amendment seriously - and “vote” with our rifles.

we did it to ourselves...all of this insanity...well not me, but some here did....some of our friends and family surely did too....
my advice is to get your kids out of the military asap but then again, those pensions are like the dangling carrot that so many will throw all principle out for...

The Russians and Chinese are laughing their asses off.
Sexuality for the average person is merely a small portion of their daily life. They have work, friends, family and a host of other interests. Someone who has a sexual identity issue is so focused on their issue as to be poor workers. It’s like working with somebody who has an OCD problem. It may be so bad as to interfere with their daily functioning. The job you do is what’s important to the employer, not your personal needs. The other issue is the drama queen syndrome. In the workplace you need to fit in, not stand so far apart that the work is somewhere way down on your priority list. If job performance is poor, regardless of reason, the employer should be empowered to dismiss you.
And The Secretary of the Air Force, a woman appointed by King Putt, said recently that if any USAF officers want to be promoted, especially to diversity.
When I served in the USAF back in the day (1970-1974) our primary mission was to kill our nation’s enemies and destroy his physical assets and his cities. I guess we were just being silly back then.
