Yesterday, the media and leftists kept whining about there being zero Republicans at Selma for the anniversary march. As is typical for the media and leftist progressives, there were actually 23 Republicans in attendance yesterday. Even George W. Bush, the devil to the media and the left was at the march, though you wouldnt know it if you saw todays New York Times with George Bush and Laura Bush cropped out of their photo.

“Did the media create the whole horror story?”
I have to assume that you are a younger person. Those of us who remember the awful things that happened during the Selma marches (not just the first one) KNOW that it was a horror story. No not one was killed on that particular day but you have to be ignorant or forgetful to remember all who were killed by bigoted nasty individuals(democrats all)who had decided that some human beings aren’t human enough.
@MHP Show: Where are the Republicans? #Selma
Just don’t you worry about it. The Republicans were there in numbers to vote for and pass the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Where were the filthy RATs then?
Without the Republican Party in 1866, 1868 and for the rest of forever there would never have been any Civil Rights act, Amendments to the Constitution, and definitely no black elected officials anywhere in the federal union.
This is all hilarious, watching Southern Democrats prance around taking credit for what they steadfastly opposed 50 years ago.
Only morons on the Left are ignorant of an entire century and a half of American history.
Because it is an important part of our history and that day along with all of the others during the civil rights days can give us all a touch stone of learning. The fact that a bunch of race baiters and communists like the DiC misuse it should not leave us jaded
Since Constitution-respecting Republicans are extinct imo, the media is right about no Republicans at Selma. /semi-sarc
And of course, without Republican votes, the Civil Rights Act would never have been passed.
The proglodytes were marching against it. That’s the problem with irony sometimes. It’s so ironic.
Yes you’re right. Schools, the government ones anyway, don’t teach this history. But that’s understandable. As Mark Levin says “The Democrat Party is the party of the Federal Government’’. So naturally it’s in the interest of the Party to continue to advance the false narrative.
Actually I was there. Just a passing motorist tho I did manage to get a photo.
I suggest you have no idea what you are talking about.
To cover for the fact that Bill and Hillary weren't there.
Were the Clintons purging their email server?
Oh I know exactly what I am talking about. If you think what the Alabama troopers and Selma police did that day (and on oh so many days before) is something to be proud of just keep on thinking that.
For all of the screaming here on FR about how the police state is now here perhaps they should go back and see what it looked like in the 60s when klansmen even got elected to the US senate
They were on Florida’s Gold Coast trying to talk to the billionaires into saving Hillary.
I believe you used the phrase “horror story”. You are full of it.
I was quoting you. Check your self before youdecide to tell me that I am full of it
I’ve not followed this Selma thing at all but I’m honestly shocked that BJ, Hillary, and Chels weren’t all over it. Did the Chicago Mob tell them to kiss off?
Exactly. The media created the horror story and you agreed with them.
They know they’re lying, but for liberals, truth is whatever serves The Party and if you say something often enough it becomes true. So they’re just posting a truth higher than the facts.
I hate to remind people, but the organizers welcomed the violence, even as they preached non-violence.
