JERUSALEM (AP) — Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday that Israel will not cede territory due to the current climate in the Middle East, appearing to rule out the establishment of a Palestinian state.
Netanyahu's comments, which came as he sought to appeal to hard-liners ahead of national elections next week, rejected a key goal of the international community and bode poorly for future peace efforts if he is re-elected.

Israel has already turned over about half its territory to its mortal enemy. Of course, the AP doesn't think that's worth mentioning.

Unfortunately a lot of the voters in Israel live in fantasy land like the Obama voters here in the US. If he loses his reelection they will not only give up more land they will find themselves faced with a stronger enemy and faced with the strong possibility Iran is close to a nuke....

And why would they? Look what happened after they pulled out of Gaza. The Muslims didn’t want peace with Israel then, they don’t want peace with Israel now, and they never will want peace with Israel. Anyone that believes otherwise is a bloody fool.
The definition of insanity would be for Israel to do the same thing over again re: ceding land to their enemies... and to expect a different outcome. Hell no to that.
