Obama, at Selma Memorial, Says, We Know the March Is Not Over Yet By PETER BAKER and RICHARD FAUSSET MARCH 7, 2015
SELMA, Ala. As a new generation struggles over race and power in America, President Obama and a host of political figures from both parties came here on Saturday, to the site of one of the most searing days of the civil rights era, to reflect on how far the country has come and how far it still has to go.
Fifty years after peaceful protesters trying to cross a bridge were beaten by police officers with billy clubs, shocking the nation and leading to passage of the landmark Voting Rights Act of 1965, the nations first African-American president led a bipartisan, biracial testimonial to the pioneers whose courage helped pave the way for his own election to the highest office of the land.
But coming just days after Mr. Obamas Justice Department excoriated the police department of Ferguson, Mo., as a hotbed of racist oppression, even as it cleared a white officer in the killing of an unarmed black teenager, the anniversary seemed more than a commemoration of long-ago events on a black-and-white newsreel. Instead, it provided a moment to measure the countrys far narrower, and yet stubbornly persistent, divide in black-and-white reality.

Continuing to prime the dependent and entitlement engines again. Poor poor pitiful us we demand all you have and more and give you nothing in return
Stir them up and maybe he’ll get to run for a third term
I can’t wait to hear Rush’s take on “Seyul muh” on Monday.
Not until America is full-blown communist/sharia.
What he means is the corrupt race industry isn’t over. Has Sharpton paid his taxes yet?
Well, it’s true. The lemmings have not reached the cliff yet.

Obama, is the epitome of the corrupt democratic politician, a leader of the party of slavery, the KKK, the segregation; a dishonor for Blacks and Hispanics, have the gall to call racists to Republicans who shed their blood to give freedom to the Blacks slaves, who forced the schools desegregation and who make possible that Blacks could enjoy the full protection of their civil, political and human rights guarantee by the U.S. Constitution.
The first two Black United States senators were Republicans. Hiram Rhodes Revels, served 1870-1871 as senator for Mississippi at de United States Senate; and Blanche Kelso Bruce, U.S. senator for Mississippi from 1875-1881, he was the first African American to serve a full term in the United States Senate.
Allowing Democrats like Holder to pose as rescuers of blacks from racist dangers. The real danger is allowing disruptive students in ghetto schools to destroy the education of other black students in a world where education is the only hope that most ghetto youngsters have for a better life.
Sacrificing these young peoples futures, in hopes of gaining some additional black votes today, is as cynical and fraudulent as it gets. Thomas Sowell
About time for Crackas to begin their march.
50 years of welfare and affirmative action and a black president ain’t enuff, Whitey!
Not until every black man in the workforce is replaced by an illegal alien. /s (I think)
That speech was an impeachable offense. It was by far the most hateful, anti-American speech ever given by a president. I was shocked at the traitorous things the Kenyan Usurper said.
” I won”
This is what happens when a majority of imbecile voters twice elected an imbecile. There are now more voters who work for government than in the private sectors. Add in the cotton and banana plantation voters, NARAL, SEIU, NEA voters and you have an indestructible majority supported by the mainstream media who have fundamentally transformed the country. Make sure to turn off the lights.
You just keep marching, Barack.... That’ s what your good at...
In order to integrate into global society, you need a brain... Good luck With that, Mr. president.
Where the White People at?
We patriots need to work at every level of government to reform our voting laws. Steps need to be taken to ensure that only qualified people are going to the polls. Not sure how we do that —maybe it could involve making people pass a test on the Constitution before they can register. We also need to require all voters to be off welfare.
