Obama Complains It’s Easier to Buy a Gun Than a Book or Fresh Vegetable

As long as you can go in some neighborhoods and it is easier for you to buy a firearm than it is for you to buy a book, there are neighborhoods where it is easier for you to buy a handgun and clips than it is for you to buy a fresh vegetable, as long as that’s the case, we’re going to continue to see unnecessary violence,” Obama said in a response to a question at the town hall meeting at Benedict College.

I, I, I....................... Banana clips? And, what about the necessary violence? Doesn't want to mention that does he? Think the questioner was a plant? I'm nearly speechless. Nearly.

Inquiring minds thought the guns were FREE
in FastFurious. But since there is neither
accountability, Truth, justice, or transparency
in the White Mosque’s Tyranny, the extent is
not known.

That's probably true in my neighborhood because my little town doesn't have bookstores or a grocery store. That doesn't make it a bad thing.

Dear Stupid Person-Posing-As-President,

Maybe you should stop worrying about guns and start finding out why some neighborhoods have background checks, forms to fill out, and three-day waiting periods to buy a vegetable! Because that’s what is required by YOUR FEDERAL GOVERNMENT to buy a gun.

He is winding up the MSM and his Storm Troopers for another Executive Order.
Mandatory registration of all handguns I bet.

Just stay out of democrat neighborhoods and you'll be safe!

Obama is correct, but it's not the NRA's fault.

Food and books aren’t a risk to your life to steal either, which is why many inner city areas are desolate or any retail establishments that allow the customer to pick the merchandise up without supervision.

He’s right. But what’s carefully not saying is that the guns in question are illegal.

Generally speaking, the areas in which criminal gun trafficking is highest are those in which legal gun sales are the most difficult and most expensive.

In my state, the city with the highest crime has no legal gun stores - they’ve all been zoned out of business. The last legal gun store closed a number of years ago after the neighborhood development council gave his landlord a redevelopment grant that was conditional on terminating his lease.

So, if you’re trying to be a model citizen and want a gun, it means taking a couple hours out of your day to drive to the suburbs. (Or most of a day, to make the same trip on the bus.) Meanwhile, criminals can pick up guns on any street corner.

So what we have is exactly what the gun nuts have always claimed - outlaw guns and only outlaws will have guns.

Here’s a thought - maybe if we let honest citizens own and carry guns, we’d see crime go down and more small entrepreneurs willing to open up groceries in these neighborhoods...

“Our homicide rates are so much higher than other industrialized countries,”
************************************************************************************************************************

Sounds like another of his straw men. I wonder if he or any of the gun grabbing looneys have ever wondered if maybe that homicide rate is higher, not because of guns but because we are being overrun with Wetbacks, Radical Muslims and semi civilized Obama’s People.
Plus since homicide rates have fallen everywhere except the deep blue areas that are being overrun with Wetbacks, Muslims and Obama’s People, maybe we should have more Wetback Control. more Muslim Control and more Obama’s People control instead of more gun control.

I would add if they really wanted them, they would steal them. When was the last time you heard of an arrest for stealing books or vegetables?
