A Michigan man was not acting erratically or threatening other people at an Ann Arbor high school music recital, but he was openly and legally carrying a firearm.
That was enough for a school choir director to call police and for a music professor to publicly shame him at the event.
The incident happened Thursday evening at Pioneer High School when Steven Lorenz, the director of choirs at the school, spotted the man openly carrying a gun and called police.

Ya, just went to it .... guy’s a jerk (the one who did all the screaming) -
Actually, a reasonable argument should be made to the police that the hysteric both improperly made a false report to the police, *and* that he was disturbing the peace. Depending on the officers involved, the hysteric might be ticketed or even at minimum threatened with arrest.
It is important that law abiding armed people turn the tables on such people, because anti-gun organizations actively encourage them to raise a hue and cry at gun owners. That is, whenever they see a legal gun, they are told to call the police to harass the gun owner.
So do not feel embarrassed in the slightest to ask the police to address such hysterics as disturbers of the peace.
It’s too bad their tiny heads didn’t explode

Thanks for the ping, ‘creek.
OH NOES....I see one of those scary gunny things!
Usually accompanied by a feminine squeal.
Hey, ye-uy, have you ever legally carried a weapon in the United States of America?
Couldn’t the gun owner also sue for defamation? Basically, the liberal professor was wrongfully identifying him as murderous threat to the attendees, even after the police okayed him. Seems he could sue over that.
LOL

They sure grow 'em dorky-looking in Flint. eh?
It’s better to make it an issue between him and the police. The police don’t care much for screwballs like the hysteric.
Link please? I can’t seem to find one...
They’re printed in the linked article.
I tried both the “f” facebook links on the page, and the one in the bottom toolbar that popped up but none of them led to his facebook page. If you can post a direct link that would be helpful.
Oh, oh, oh, someone might get upseeeett.
Oh — A-Squared. That explains it.
Ann Arbor and Detroit...Sigh. Made for each other snd BY one another.
“...school choir director to call police and... a music professor...”
