I filmed and posted a video on Facebook with a commentary regarding the ATF Green Tip Ammo Ban. When I went to "boost" / advertise the post, Facebook came back with a denial saying that the ad didn't meet their advertising guidelines. Stating that you cant advertise the sale of firearms or ammo. This video didn't advertise either - it merely showed how ridiculous the possible ban on NATO Green Tip ammo is and in my opinion, sort of funny. Who else has had a run in with Facebook?

Convert it to a rap video.
Conservatives thinking it’s fair.
Perhaps if it were pink tipped ammo they would be ok with it?
Yes, you can’t post anything about guns or ammo. If you post pics of guns or yourself holding guns they will be deleted as well......................
Their site, their rules. They can make them as they go to subvert your posts. Good thing you’re not paying to have them censor you. :>}
They aren’t erasing the post - they just won’t let me boost/advertise the post. The Facebook page is a business page. Loaded with several pictures of guns.
I don’t know. About 90% of the people I follow on FB are firearms related. Maybe someone was just moody that day.
I was about to post it on Facebook to help out.
Then I watched it.
The errors are...prolific. I couldn’t watch all of it (well, went back and forced myself to), as it was spewing misinformation/ignorance so fast.
1. M855 has a steel TIP, not CORE.
1a. BATFE is straining the point by construing “tip” as “core”.
2. The legal definition of “armor piercing” has NOTHING to do with ability to pierce armor, but has EVERYTHING to do with what the CORE is made of and whether handguns using the ammo exist.
3. AR15 pistols DO exist. They’re big, but they’re short barreled with no stock, therefore are legally “pistols”.
After making massive errors about these key points, the video then devolves into rank absurdity ... and then finishes with an advertising plug.
So...between the gross misinformation it promotes I won’t support it, and the straightforward violation of FB terms of service they’re not going to let you promote it via advertising.
Good effort, but badly misguided.
Maybe someone’s been flagged by somebody. I saw a post the other day with somebody’s niece in her princess outfit holding her pink .22 AR. Not only that, she had far superior trigger discipline than the assclowns on capital hill have.
Twitter will allow it.
I watched your vid....It looked like you were having fun. I loved the car scene. “Colorado” was funny.
Good luck.
It a free country. You can’t MAKE them boost your video.
Demand that they make you a gay wedding cake instead.
zit face zuckerberg calls his users stupid f’ers. zit dude just wants to spy on you and get your info so he can sell it to the Feds and corporations. zit man doesn’t like conservatives, so you know what’s going on.
My only guess is then the pics you see are there because of previous contractual obligations, and will be removed once the contracts run out.............................
The video was an attempt to promote our target company by using a hot button issue. I didn’t want to get too far into the “weeds” with specific information about projectile construction. Dumbing down and showing the absurdity of the issue as a whole was the point. Bottom line is nearly all rifle rounds will penetrate soft body armor. The ATF is trying to use the 1986 law prohibiting certain types of projectile usage in handguns - a small and easily concealed weapon that can be used to attack a law enforcement officer (an AR Pistol isn’t small and concealable - I know because I’ve shot one several times). Creating a video for non-gun guys can be tricky because you don’t want to turn it into a dissertation. Thanks for at least looking at it.
Dump facebook. It’s run by a little commie pinko fag that supports this nazimuslim and is nothing more than a gestapo tool.
Not to be a jerk,,, but a friend went pig hunting in TX recently and a few of his pics showed him holding his rifle in his hands . . .
uh oh,, did I just rat him out??
Looks like I was mistaken. I read some of the articles mentioned here:
http://factually.gizmodo.com/facebook-isnt-reporting-people-who-pose-with-guns-to-ho-1666119909
...and failed to detect it as parody...............
Facebook is run by a lefty. That’s what’s wrong with it.
