David Axelrod, President Obama’s former longtime senior strategist, has been caught minimizing his father’s participation with the Communist Party USA.
Further, there is evidence Axelrod himself was mentored early on by communist activists.
In his book “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics,” released two weeks ago, Axelrod makes light of the communist affiliation of his father, Ukrainian immigrant Joseph Axelrod.

This is a very familiar story: communists passing on their perverse leftist way of thinking to their children and their children in turn, as if their ideology was a genetic trait. The children had their own clubs and camps and even schools where they were brainwashed, while the older folks worked out of their own organizations and cells, often clandestine. The youngsters were were groomed from the cradle on how to propagandize to the general society and thereby expand their influence and to eventually, after enough time to accumulate enough influence, to take over the workings of general societal institutions. Thus the kids would be called "Red Diaper Babies."
If you grew up Jewish, especially in New York or Chicago, chances are you would have some contacts with individuals and families who belonged to this perverse culture. But it surely was not limited ethnically nor geographically, though Axelrod is very typical in both respects.
He’s not the only one. Valerie Jarrett is a red diaper baby too.

Being a Communist is practically a requirement for being a trusted Democrat these days...this doesn’t hurt him a bit.
No different than the requirement that a feminist “prove” she’s real by doing it up with a butch.

Notice we all agree democrats are communist.
But none of them would come out in public and proclaim “I’m communist.” In fact, as we can see in the case of Axelrod, they do whatever they can to cover it up.
It’s clear to me that in the long run the defining characteristic of communism is not whether it defeats western free markets, or even whether it can “work” once established.
The defining nature of communism is that the only way to save it from defeat by the will of the people is to conceal it in total darkness.
I believe the kind of mind communism appeals to is not quite sharp enough to see this.
The real problem is that the younger generations don’t even know what a communist is, much less why communism is bad.

Exactly. They just repackaged Communism as “Progressivism”. Spreading the lie that since the USSR is gone, Communism is gone has also helped. Amazing how many young meatheads believe such nonsense!
I posted this before, but I think it is relevant today.
