The trial for the Boston Marathon bombing might become a family affair.
Katherine Russell, the widow of slain suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev, could face criminal charges for the April 2013 terror attack, ABC News reported.
Police reportedly believe that Russell knew about the havoc Tsarnaev and his younger brother, Dzhokar, planned for the marathon, and failed to let authorities know about it. Dzhokar Tsarnaev is currently on trial for the attack.

If, as the article implies that authorities can definitively place her WITH her husband at MACY’s buying five pressure cookers two months before the bombing, then they have a case. Their evidence might even include store videos. Something less would be a task for her lawyers to defend against.
I’m gonna wait to see what shakes out.

From my notes: April 21, 2013 – “Dzhokhar tells FBI the bombs were made in Tamerlan and Katherine’s (age 24) 800 sq ft Cambridge apartment and they upped the original Fourth of July date to the marathon because they finished the bombs early. They were going to detonate the bombs at the Charles River Esplanade celebration. Another site would have been Times Square, NY. That they acted alone and that they learned how to build pressure cooker bombs from an online al Qaeda magazine, Inspire. At some point, the FBI sends more investigators to Russia.”
She claimed she didn’t know anything about the bombs because she was working long hours and they were supposedly made in the basement. Hard to believe her story but her family connections have saved her so far. More notes: “June 2007 – Katherine “Katie” Osborn Russell graduates North Kingstown HS, North Kingstown, RI. She was born Feb 1989. Her grandfather Russell was connected to the CIA and was a founding member of Yale’s Skull and Bones which is funded by the Russell Trust Assoc.”

It’s beginning to fail to surprise me that girls from ‘good families’ do this. They’re often far too emotionally immature to deal with the real world and seek men who will tell them what to do blindly so they can abdicate as much responsibility for their lives as possible. They grow up the center of their family’s positive attention and have problems coping when they hit the real world, that does not make them the center of positive, babying attention.
I don’t know how far her family’s protection will extend if the rest of the press and country starts to scrutinize them more determinedly. She might be kicked into prison if only to save the family from more unwelcome attention. Publicly, she might be supported, but with families this high up, the reality might end up with her shunned and cut off in private.

First thing she did was run home to mommy and daddy. On April 19, mommy and daddy put their home on the market. The next day, the FBI searched the home and brought her in for questioning for a few hours. I don’t know where they moved to.
The Tsarnaev sisters are mama made over. They have had domestic disputes and shop lifting and etc. Even Katherine Russell had a shop lifting arrest from Old Navy. The entire bunch are scum.
If five pressure cookers were bought and two were used at the marathon, who has the other three?
